What to watch on YouTube right now – Part 105

Welcome back my readers, YouTube viewers and all others who followed this series of articles focused on YouTube videos worth watching. Have you been searching for something fun or interesting to watch on YouTube? Do you feel bored right now and you crave for something to see on the world’s most popular online video destination?

I recommend you check out the following videos I found.

Tour of Tokyo Game Show 2025 – When I was very young, I used to be obsessed with visiting the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) in direct connection with my love for playing video games and arcade games. The obsession is now gone now that I am much older and console gaming has changed drastically over the past thirty years. From time to time, I watch videos on YouTube that explored the TGS and found two videos of this year’s TGS that are amusing to watch. Watch the videos below.

Pasta in Japan and more – Moving from steak, I found another video about pasta – spaghetti specifically – prepared by Japanese cooks in a local food joint (referred to as a pasta shop) to a lot of people who clearly enjoyed what they ate. You might learn something new about how to prepare a spaghetti for others. Watch the video below.

#3 Learn to Reject Radical Islam – Asmongold TV posted recently a video in which he reacted to another video that specifically focused on how a certain country rejected radical Islam. It is indeed a very sensitive matter but it still is significant because there are so many Islamists – both people from Muslim-majority nations and people in the West who declared themselves strong believers of Islam – worldwide and they are always destructive and extreme. There are these Westerner Islamists who arrogantly declared they want to destroy Western civilization and replace it entirely with Islam. Go watch Asmongold TV’s video now.

Rocky V revisited – Way back in January 1991, I saw Rocky V inside the local cinema with my father and brother. Having enjoyed the first four Rocky movies a lot, we were excited to see Sylvester Stallone reprise his iconic role in the fifth movie even as we wondered where the story will go following Rocky’s victory over Ivan Drago. Ultimately, we, along with many others, left the cinema feeling disappointed with Rocky V’s story and direction. Even though the 1990 film – which had Tommy Morrison and Sage Stallone as new additions plus the short return of Burgess Meredith – was disliked by a lot of Rocky fans, Rocky V still went on to become a popular feature in many movie reaction videos as well as retro video reviews. For your viewing pleasure, posted below are the selected videos.

Ashleigh Burton reacts to The Birds  – If you are fond of Ashleigh Burton doing reaction videos and if you are an Alfred Hitchcock enthusiast, then you will be very interested in the YouTuber’s reaction video of 1963’s The Birds. Posted below is Ashleigh Burton’s reaction video and I encourage you to watch it.

What to watch on YouTube right now – Part 104

Welcome back my readers, YouTube viewers and all others who followed this series of articles focused on YouTube videos worth watching. Have you been searching for something fun or interesting to watch on YouTube? Do you feel bored right now and you crave for something to see on the world’s most popular online video destination?

I recommend you check out the following videos I found.

Heavy Steaks in Japan – If you were able to visit Japan, did you crave for steak as a meal there? I found another video by the Japanese Food Noodles channel that showed another place to enjoy steak. Apart from seeing the food cooked and served, there is something new to learn from the individuals who managed the food joint. Watch and learn from the video below.

Overtourism in Japan – In Japan, there is a massive number for foreign tourists who kept coming in and spending quality time there. The number of visitors from overseas is so great, it is resulting in a mix of positive and negative results. While certain local businesses are benefiting from foreign tourists, others are experiencing negative effects such as littering, worsening traffic congestion and even the violation of privacy. Let’s be clear: overtourism in Japan is undeniably real and there are some foreign tourists who could not behave themselves. Watch and learn from the Nippon TV video below.

#3 The Twilight Zone Movie Tragedy and Trial – Have you ever seen the 1983 film Twilight Zone: The Movie? I did but not inside the cinema. I previously blogged about retrospective videos about it. The movie was an ambitious revival of The Twilight Zone franchise and among the directors who worked on it (note: the film had short stories) were Steven Spielberg and John Landis. The movie was mired in strong controversy due to the tragedy that happened in Landis’ segment starring Vic Morrow who died along with two minors her carried with him. Not only did deaths and injuries happen, there were also some violations of established laws committed. To find out what happened and how the trial against the filmmakers ultimately turned out, watch the video below.

Trump confronts the wicked United Nations and other evil stakeholders – Recently US President Donald Trump spoke to the members of the wicked United Nations in their building in New York City. He bravely confronted the many evil stakeholders there – the Islamo-Leftists, the socialists, the terrorist-loving members, the illegal immigration advocates and climate change zealots – and spoke the truth that they refused to realize. Watch and learn from the videos below.

Top Secret! revisited  – While the 1984 ZAZ comedy Top Secret! never came close to achieving the success and impact of 1980’s Airplane!, the movie still went on to entertain others who were born after it was released. Top Secret! is also the cinematic debut of the late Val Kilmer and it was an early showcase of his artistry and creativity. That being said, it is not surprising that there are lots of reaction videos of Top Secret! on YouTube and I found three entertaining videos for you to enjoy. Watch the videos below.

Better than Streaming: Minority Report 4K Blu-ray Set For Release This December

Welcome back fellow geeks, Blu-ray collectors and movie buffs!

If you are looking for another Steven Spielberg film to be added to your 4K Blu-ray collection, be aware that the 2002 sci-fi film Minority Report (starring Tom Cruise) will be released on 4K Blu-ray format on December 9, 2025.

This is what the regular edition of Minority Report 4K Blu-ray looks like.

The good news here is that Minority Report will have native 4K visuals and pre-orders for the 4K Blu-ray – specifically the regular edition and the Steelbook edition – are being accepted online here and here.

For the newcomers reading this, the only way to watch Minority Report in high-definition was its 2010 Blu-ray release. The upcoming 4K Blu-ray will have one 4K Blu-ray disc containing the film and a Blu-ray disc containing extra stuff.

To put things in perspective, posted below is the excerpt of the Blu-ray.com announcement. Some parts in boldface…

DOLBY VISION/HDR PRESENTATION OF THE FILM

    DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track

Optional English, Spanish, and French subtitles for the main feature

The rear of the Minority Report 4K Blu-ray.

Posted below are the technical details of Minority Report 4K Blu-ray from its Blu-ray.com page.

I am personally interested in the upcoming 4K Blu-ray release of Minority Report. I first saw that movie at the local cinema (note: it has officially closed down after years of neglect and deterioration) and I ended up being entertained and intrigued by its tone and Spielberg’s direction. Without spoiling the plot, I can say that the film is pretty cerebral and its scenes of spectacle were pay-offs to the build-ups.

Inspired by one of the sci-fi tales of the late Philip K. Dick, Minority Report is not exactly a film to watch for fun only as it will compel you to think about the conflicts between destiny and predictions, crime and law enforcement, and most notably the debate about arresting people who only thought about committing crime but did not execute it. Another good reason to watch it is the combined talents of Spielberg and Tom Cruise, and there is a lot of depth – including expository dialogue – to the script.

The scheduled December 2025 release of the 4K Blu-ray of Minority Report is quite timely. Today, a lot of moviegoers and some fans of Tom Cruise felt burned up with the Mission: Impossible film franchise. As for Spielberg, there has been nothing groundbreaking nor interesting about the films he directed over the past several years. Times like these, you’ll have to go back to the previous works of Spielberg and Cruise to enjoy something and Minority Report can fill that void.

If you are a 4K Blu-ray collector who has not yet seen Minority Report, better avoid watching any of the movie reaction videos or retro reviews or retrospectives of the film on YouTube.

Watch out for Minority Report 4K Blu-ray on December 9, 2025.

Better than Streaming: I Finally Saw Nausicaä Of The Valley Of The Wind Inside The Movie Theater

Welcome back fellow geeks, Blu-ray collectors and movie buffs!

I finally did it! After having seen it many times on home video, cable TV, local TV and DVD, I finally viewed Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind inside the local cinema here in the Philippines. I saw it on September 17 at SM Cinema inside SM Southmall in Las Piñas City. This was also the first time in two years since I last saw any movie inside the cinema (I last saw Sound of Freedom).

An old movie poster of Nausicaä Of The Valley Of The Wind.

For the newcomers reading this, Nausicaä Of The Valley Of The Wind was  part of the Studio Ghibli Fest 2025 which was exclusive to SM Cinema (the largest cinema chain in the country). While the said fest ended on September 16, there were still screenings of Studio Ghibli anime feature films shown in SM Cinema branches from September 17 to 23.

I paid P275 (US$4.72 according to the foreign exchange as of this writing) for my SM Cinema ticket and it includes a free drink. I entered the cinema carrying my ticket, drink and popcorn feeling excited and nostalgic to see Nausicaä Of The Valley Of The Wind on the big screen for the first time ever. What was shown was the English-subtitled version with Japanese voiceovers (Sumi Shimamoto as Nausicaä, Gorô Naya as Yupa, Yoshiko Sakakibara as Kushana, Yôji Matsuda as Asbel, and more)

We were only seven people inside the cinema and there were lots of vacant seats beside, behind and in front of me. I was sitting very comfortably waiting for the screening to begin. At the same time, nobody had a noisy smartphone during the screening. As for me, I deliberately turned my smartphone off to ensure no communication-related distractions would happen.

Eventually Nausicaä Of The Valley Of The Wind finally started playing on the big screen. After the short animated opening scene, the music by Joe Hisaishi started playing as the opening credits went on. At that moment, I was immersed into Hayao Miyazaki’s anime classic immediately and I knew I made the right decision to see it inside the theater.

As the film went on, I adjusted myself to reading the subtitles while maintaining focus on the plot as well as the development of characters. Visually, the film turned out to be really spectacular on the big screen even though it had no computer-generated images at all (note: it is purely hand-drawn animation that was done with so much hard work by Miyazaki and the animators). With the higher resolution on the big screen, I saw a lot more tiny visual details here and there and the facial expressions of the characters became more lively than before. Very clearly, Nausicaä Of The Valley Of The Wind is meant to be seen in the movie theater.

The sense of visual scale in scenes like this one is best viewed on the big screen in the movie theater. (photo source – IMDB.com)
There is nothing like exploring a very polluted forest filled with huge, mutated insects. (photo source – IMDB.com)

After about two hours – the end credits includes animated scenes showing what happened after the climax – of watching, I left the cinema feeling very satisfied and entertained even though I saw Miyazaki’s 1984 masterpiece many times over the decades. The fact that the English-subtitled version was shown gave me an idea of what Japanese moviegoers saw inside their cinemas in 1984, and I can say that the Japanese voiceovers were engaging to listen to. The big screen experience alone made watching Nausicaä Of The Valley Of The Wind worth it.

That being said, I want to express out loud to local movie theater operators reading this to consider showing more of the classic anime feature films as well as classic motion pictures during film festivals or special theatrical events. Personally, I want to see Casablanca, Macross: Do You Remember Love?, Metropolis (2001), Tron, Total Recall (1990) and Akira in the local cinemas.

I am very glad to have seen the 1984 classic anime movie inside the movie theater.

Going back to Nausicaä Of The Valley Of The Wind, I am very glad to have seen inside the cinema and if ever your local cinema will have it screened, I encourage you to go for it. There is absolutely no way that that the screens of your smartphone, your tablet, your PC monitor and your high-definition TV could match the grand visuals of Miyazaki’s film on the cinema’s big screen. Truly the cinema is better than streaming.

What to watch on YouTube right now – Part 102

Welcome back my readers, YouTube viewers and all others who followed this series of articles focused on YouTube videos worth watching. Have you been searching for something fun or interesting to watch on YouTube? Do you feel bored right now and you crave for something to see on the world’s most popular online video destination?

I recommend you check out the following videos I found.

CinePals react to Predator 2 – I saw Predator 2 a number of times since the 1990s. I even reviewed the first issue of its 2-part comic book adaptation. Predator 2 was essentially a police story with science fiction elements mixed in and it was a worthy sequel. That being said, I saw a lot of Predator 2 reaction videos on YouTube and in my view, the reaction video by CinePals is the most entertaining one yet. Watch the video below.

How AMD overtook Intel – Do you own a personal computer that has an AMD chip inside it? Mine does not but our Xbox Series X console has. In the world of business, the rivalry between AMD and Intel on CPUs has lasted for decades. While Intel led the industry for a very long time, it has gradually lost market share to AMD over the past several years. The company behind Ryzen and Athlon CPUs bounced back significantly under the leadership of Lisa Su and their alliance with TSMC was a great gamble that paid off well. Watch and learn from the video below.

#3 Do You Like Japanese Pork Cutlet? – When was the last time you had a pork cutlet for a meal? In Japan, their pork cutlet called Tonkatsu is popular and there are lots of food joints that offer it to customers. Tonkatsu is composed of a breaded, deep-fried pork cutlet, and historically it started during the Meiji era in the late 20th century. I recently discovered a YouTube video about one particular Japanese food joint that offer Tonkatsu that look large. Watch and enjoy the video below.

Clash of the Titans (1981) Reaction Videos by Rhetorical Thrill and You, Me and The Movies  – As a very young boy, I was fortunate enough to have seen the fantasy film Clash of the Titans inside the movie theater. The 1981 film was also the final work of stop-motion visual effects legend Ray Harryhausen and it had Burgess Meredith (the same actor who played Rocky’s trainer in the first 3 Rocky movies) in a key supporting role. I found two entertaining movie reaction videos of Clash of the Titans (1981) from You, Me and the Movies and Rhetorical Thrill. I encourage you to watch their respective videos below.

Get To Know IMAX Better  – You may have seen some movies inside an IMAX theater but are you aware of what IMAX really is apart from the experience of seeing a movie on a very large screen? IMAX is a brand, a special film format, a series of large cameras, a chain of special cinemas and an enterprise to say the least. Among the Hollywood directors, Christopher Nolan is the most prominent one who uses IMAX cameras in films like Dunkirk, Interstellar, Oppenheimer and his two last Batman movies. You can learn more about what makes IMAX different from the rest by watching the video below.

Ashleigh Burton Reacts to Iron Eagle – What is there to say about the movie Iron Eagle? A movie about fighter planes and American military culture, the film was released the same year as the more famous Top Gun. I only saw the film on home video but in 1986, I had friends who were raving about Iron Eagle. That said, you should watch Ashleigh Burton’s reaction video about the old movie.

A Look At Silent Hill 2 – Back in 2001, I still remember there was a lot of pre-release hype for the video game Silent Hill 2. Released on the PlayStation 2 and the original Xbox console (Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams), the game went on to achieve big commercial and critical success. To this day, a lot of gamers called Silent Hill 2 as the most definitive game of the entire Silent Hill game franchise. To know more about the history and production of Silent Hill 2, watch the video below.

Better than Streaming: Do You Have Nausicaä Of The Valley Of The Wind In Your Blu-ray Collection?

Welcome back fellow geeks, Blu-ray collectors and movie buffs!

In recent times, the 1984 anime classic Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind was shown in some cinemas here in the Philippines as part of the Studio Ghibli Fest 2025 which was exclusive to SM Cinema (the largest cinema chain in the country).

For the first time ever, I saw Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind inside the cinema at SM Southmall in Las Piñas City, and I can say it was an immersive experience to replay Hayao Miyazaki’s classic. To make things clear, I saw Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind a number of times since the mid-1980s starting with the bad English version Warriors of the Wind. I eventually saw the anime feature film in its uncut form on DVD (with the new English dub from Disney).

This leads me to my next point… Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind was released three times on Blu-ray disc format over the past several years. The first was from Disney in 2011. Six years later, a 2nd Blu-ray release came from Shout! Factory which had a newer scan of the film and improved picture quality over the Disney Blu-ray.

The 2017 Blu-ray of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind from Shout! Factory.

In 2020, Shout! Factory released Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind in Steelbook (Blu-ray.com describes the picture quality as follows: “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind has received a top-notch video-presentation with a high bit-rate encode from Gkids. The encode is of a new remaster of the film. This is a much better video-presentation than that of the original Disney Blu-ray released in North America. Colors are significantly better and more accurate to the original animation cells.”)

As the Steelbook Blu-ray of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind is the most recent release, posted below for your reference are the technical details from its Blu-ray.com page.

What caught my attention is the fact that – as of this writing – the 2020 Steelbook Blu-ray of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind is only a few Dollars higher than that of the 2017 Blu-ray. As a Blu-ray movie collector, I see a really good deal with the Steelbook Blu-ray at its current price. Both the 2017 and 2020 Blu-ray versions of the classic anime feature film carry a booklet. There is a choice that both Studio Ghibli fans and casual anime fans can take advantage here.

This is what the 2020 Steelbook Blu-ray of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind looks like.

At this stage, I can only wonder if Studio Ghibli has plans to produce and release a 4K Blu-ray of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind someday. Perhaps if more than enough fans and 4K Blu-ray collectors would get together to express their demand for it, Hayao Miyazaki and his studio would be aware.

If you have decided to buy the 2017 Blu-ray of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, click here. If you want the 2020 Steelbook Blu-ray version, click here.

What to watch on YouTube right now – Part 101

Welcome back my readers, YouTube viewers and all others who followed this series of articles focused on YouTube videos worth watching. Have you been searching for something fun or interesting to watch on YouTube? Do you feel bored right now and you crave for something to see on the world’s most popular online video destination?

I recommend you check out the following videos I found.

Rhetorical Thrill’s First Blood Reaction Video – I have seen a lot of movie reaction videos of First Blood on YouTube, and almost all of them were by YouTubers who really never saw the said Rambo movie before. For the newcomers reading this, First Blood was released in 1982 starring Sylvester Stallone at a time when the Vietnam War was still fresh in the minds of many Americans. The film was a crucial success for the production company Carolco and its theme music from Jerry Goldsmith made waves in pop culture easily reminding people about Rambo. Recently I took time out to watch Rhetorical Thrill’s First Blood reaction video which is entertaining to see as her reactions were really catchy. As First Blood is a classic among American action films and films related to the Vietnam War, I encourage you all to watch it entirely first if you have not seen it. Otherwise, enjoy Rhetorical Thrill’s reaction video below.

Silent Hill (1999) Retrospective – I played Silent Hill a lot on PlayStation in 1999. I got far into the game’s story and through the many settings and challenges, but ultimately I never finished it. It was not just unique horror-themed video game. Silent Hill was very atmospheric and its approach on storytelling contributed a lot video gaming as a whole. If you want to discover who were the people responsible for Silent Hill and what the game had to offer, watch the two retrospective videos below.

#3 AI: Artificial Intelligence Revisited – AI (artificial intelligence) is wildly popular with people today for various purposes. Long before AI became a popular digital tool, the themes about artificial intelligence in general was explored by Steven Spielberg in a movie project that previously involved Stanley Kubrick (who died in 1999). That film was AI: Artificial Intelligence directed by Spielberg and released in 2001. I saw the movie on home video but it never engaged me. Of course, that did not stop AI: Artificial Intelligence from being featured in retrospective videos, review videos and movie reactions. To see what Spielberg’s movie is about, watch the selected videos below.

Ashleigh Burton Reacts To The Land Before Time – What can be said about the 1988 animated movie The Land Before Time? It was directed by American animation legend Don Bluth and it involved Steven Spielberg and George Lucas as executive producers. More notably, the movie was about a group of young, talking dinosaurs who go on a series of unexpected events and adventuring which touched a lot of moviegoers back in 1988. That being said, Ashleigh Burton’s reaction video is a must-see.

Ramen In Osaka  – It has been almost thirty years since my first and only visit to Osaka in Japan. I had a fun few days of touring Osaka and there was a series of new discoveries I enjoyed there. I just could not remember eating ramen there. As such, I found a video about a certain ramen shop that has been serving customers with delicious meals for at least forty years now. You can learn about how ramen is prepared and what it takes to make delicious ramen that will keep customers coming back for more.

You, Me and the Movies React To Pee-wee’s Big Adventure – What was the directorial debut of Tim Burton? It was in Pee-wee’s Big Adventure, a comedy adventure film starring the late Paul Reubens and released in 1984. Some fans of the film called it a classic of the comedy genre and one of the funniest Hollywood comedies of the 1980s. The film keeps on making viewers laugh or smile, and you can see why by watching the reaction video of You, Me and the Movies below.

The Assassination of Charlie Kirk Exposes The Evil Of The Leftists – I have said it before and will say it again…the Left is so evil and so twisted, it is truly Satanic. I am referring to the woke, the Islamo-Leftists, the liberals, the socialists, the Communists and the more. To put things in perspective, a lot has happened since the assassination of Charlie Kirk who was an American patriot, a true family man, an ally of Israel and a faithful follower of Lord Jesus. His assassination drew cheers and celebration among the Leftists which exposed further the burning evil deep within them. The Leftists are so pathetic, they and their mainstream news media partners-in-crime are LYING to the people about the assassin Tyler Robinson and about the victim Kirk. Even Bethesda – the game publisher behind The Elder Scrolls video game franchise – shamelessly mocked Kirk via social media before deleting its Tweet. Watch and learn from the videos below.

What to watch on YouTube right now – Part 100

Welcome back my readers, YouTube viewers and all others who followed this series of articles focused on YouTube videos worth watching. Have you been searching for something fun or interesting to watch on YouTube? Do you feel bored right now and you crave for something to see on the world’s most popular online video destination?

I recommend you check out the following videos I found.

Christine Grace Smith Reacts To A Video About Society Impacted When No Men Are Working – There is something new and engaging to learn about society whenever Christine Grace Smith posts a new video. Recently, she shared her own reaction to a video that explores what would happen to society if men stopped working. This is something that the woke and rabid modern-day feminists do not want you to see. I urge you all to watch her video now.

Metal Gear Games Revisited – In connection with the recent release of Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, it was not surprising that a lot of YouTube videos revisiting past Metal Gear games got published by different YouTubers. Some of those videos I found were entertaining to watch while others were reflective or even intriguing. For the newcomers reading this. The Metal Gear game franchise of Konami started in the late 1980s under Hideo Kojima when he was very young. That being said, I urge you all to take a look at the selected Metal Gear-related videos I shared below.

#3 How Alan Moore And Watchmen Spread The Wokeness Disease In Comics – YouTuber Ranting for Vengeance is back, and this time he strikes hard at author Alan Moore not personally but for sowing the seeds of wokeness in superhero comics with Watchmen as the turning point. By today’s standards, wokeness is the unfortunate new normal in superhero comics and it is a fact that Alan Moore is an anarchist and a Leftist as well. Watch and learn from the video below.

Robin Hood: Men in Tights Revisited – Long ago, there were several comedy films made by Mel Brooks which delivered bouts of humor to moviegoers and raked in varying amounts in ticket sales. In the 1990s, he directed Robin Hood: Men in Tights which my friends enjoyed watching inside the movie theater. While the film is not a classic by any means – not even within the comedy genre – it still managed to entertain YouTubers through their reaction videos. Watch the selected reaction videos below.

The Traditional Types of Food of Japan  – While you may have enjoy varied types of food of Japan served through the many Japanese restaurants around the world, are you aware that there certain meals or delicacies of the nation that were simply not made available through those places? That being said, it would be enlightening – and even tasty – for you to visit Japan and try out the more traditional types of food the nation has to offer. Indeed, there are the 100-year food declared in Japan and you can learn more about them by watching the video below.

What to watch on YouTube right now – Part 99

Welcome back my readers, YouTube viewers and all others who followed this series of articles focused on YouTube videos worth watching. Have you been searching for something fun or interesting to watch on YouTube? Do you feel bored right now and you crave for something to see on the world’s most popular online video destination?

I recommend you check out the following videos I found.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind Revisited – The first time I ever saw Steven Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind was not in the cinema but on home video in the early 1980s. Being so young, I was not aware that the movie I saw was the director’s cut version (which showed the interior of the alien space ship). In 1998, the movie regained spotlight with the release of its 3rd and final version. That being said, it is not surprising that Spielberg’s film became the popular subject of YouTube movie reaction videos. I can only wonder what exact versions are the YouTubers reacting to. Watch the selected videos below (including a trivia video by Minty Comedic Arts and a Dan Monroe retrospective).

The Rise, The Fall and Scandals of E3 – I love playing video games and there was a time when the annual E3 became the one video game convention I wanted to attend. I never had the opportunity to attend it and E3 came to an inevitable demise due to many factors like the high costs of event organizing, irrelevance with game industry players, and a variety of scandals. To know more about E3 and why it has a terrible history despite being an entertaining event for gamers, watch the video below.

#3 Greta Thunberg Is Back (Again) – Climate change zealot and Islamic terrorist supporter Greta Thunberg is back yet again. After failing to reach the Gaza Strip with her activist pals, Thunberg is trying to do the same thing again and Israel is watching. She clearly has no respect for authority, continues to be allied with evil elements of the world (she refused to condemn Palestinian terrorist group Hamas) and she is living with a very distorted perception of reality. Watch and learn from the Sky News Australia videos below.

SPAM’s Impact On Food In Japan – Like many others out there, I enjoy eating SPAM lunch meat from Hormel from time to time. It is a great addition for making sandwiches or rice meals. When I had a solo holiday in Hawaii, I saw SPAM on ready-to-eat food items there. SPAM also had impact on certain food of Okinawa in Japan and you can learn more by watching the video below.

Are You Aware Of The History Of Comico?  – Have you ever read any comic book from Comico: The Comic Company? I did and they were direct adaptations of episodes of Robotech in the 1980s. I know they published many other titles during their years of business but I never got to see any more Comico releases at retail here in the Philippines. As it turned out, Comico closed down in 1997. You can learn more about the beginning, rise and closure of Comico by watching the video below.

What to watch on YouTube right now – Part 98

Welcome back my readers, YouTube viewers and all others who followed this series of articles focused on YouTube videos worth watching. Have you been searching for something fun or interesting to watch on YouTube? Do you feel bored right now and you crave for something to see on the world’s most popular online video destination?

I recommend you check out the following videos I found.

The Fly Revisited – In 1986, The Fly was released in cinemas and it impacted the science fiction genre, the horror genre and pop culture with body horror presentation under the direction of David Cronenberg. The film, which was a remake of the 1958 original, established Geena Davis and Jeff Goldblum as cinematic artists. The movie even became an allegory about AIDS and how people care about those who are living with diseases. That being said, it is not surprising that The Fly became the subject of many YouTube videos in the form of retro reviews, reaction videos and trivia videos. To enjoy The Fly, watch the selected videos below…

Steve Ditko Remembered – Are you familiar with the late illustrator Steve Ditko? He was the co-creator of Spider-Man and he illustrated the first 38 issues of The Amazing Spider-Man comic book series. Unlike the other Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee (who went on to be famous and celebrated a lot), Ditko had a low-key profile and did not want to be interviewed. If you want to learn more about the late illustrator, watch the video below.

#3 Pro-Palestine Activist Riddhi Patel Bashes City Officials And Threatens Them With Violence – I have seen a lot of Islamo-Leftist activists and zealots. Most of the time, they hate Israel and took sides with Palestinians and the Islamic terrorists. Also many of them activists are so extreme, they became entitled, arrogant and disrespectful to higher authorities. In the Communist state of California, the pro-Palestine activist Riddhi Patel spoke to city officials of Bakersfield and went as far as threatening them with violence. She even misused the name of Jesus. In her own words, Patel said “We’ll murder you.” To find out more, watch the video from SaharTV below.

Wood-Fired Rice Balls Served By Store in Japan – Have you eaten any freshly cooked onigiri (Japanese rice ball) lately? I live here in the Philippines and because onigiri is not a common food, my only options are to buy them from the convenience store or from a foreign food vendor. In Japan, onigiri is widely available and customers can avail of them freshly cooked. There is this store in Japan that sells onigiri which are prepared with rice (cooked by wood fire) and fresh ingredients. Watch and learn from the video below.

Meet The Programmer Behind The Classic Game Centipede  – While I never had the chance to play the classic Atari game Centipede in the arcades in the 1980s, I played the Atari 2600 port a lot and enjoy it. Because I have a copy of the Atari 50 collection on my Xbox Series X, I am able to play the Centipede arcade version in the comfort of home. For the newcomers reading this, Centipede is a tremendous success in the arcades ending up as one of the Top 4 arcade games of 1982 in America. It was also ported to many consoles and home computers years later. Recently, I found a YouTube video featuring Dona Bailey, one of the programmers behind Centipede.
