Greetings!
I am Carlo Carrasco, the author of the fantasy book The World of Havenor (ISBN 978-1-4415-9-3535) which is available online at Amazon, Xlibris, Microsoft and Loot.co.za. Professionally I worked as a copywriter for a leading self-publishing services provider and I won three company awards from them for my hard work and high production. I graduated at Colegio de San Juan de Letran with a degree in Communication Arts.
I also worked as a community newspaper journalist covering several developments of varied communities of BF Homes subdivision in the Philippine cities of Paranaque, Las Pinas and Muntinlupa. Before working as a community newspaper journalist, I grew up with a passion for current events and read newspapers almost daily through the decades. I was even a contributor for the Cebu City-based community newspaper Sun.Star Cebu and my high number of articles they published led to me being named their Contributor of the Year (2008) during the Sun.Star Cebu awards held in early 2009.
I am also a blogger and you will see my articles or expressions at this website as well as in my old blog called Geeks and Villagers.
I also do freelance projects to help small businesses and private organizations achieve their goals on publicity and marketing which contributed to their growth over the years. To date I helped multisports (triathlon, duathlon and aquathlon) race organizers have their respective events appear on the sports pages of national broadsheet and tabloid newspapers by means of press release campaigns. The same press release campaigns also helped them gain mileage on radio and online.
