Have you been searching for something fun or interesting to watch on YouTube? Do you feel bored right now and you crave for something to see on the world’s most popular online video destination?

#1 Demolition Man Revisited – Way back in 1993, I completely missed out on Demolition Man in the local cinemas. The first time I saw it was on a rented laserdisc in 1995 and the film (starring Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes) turned out to be entertaining in a unique way. By today’s standards, Demolition Man is considered by many as a film ahead of its time as it accidentally predicted self-driving cars, video conferencing, heavy dependence on computers for solutions and more. As such, it is not surprising that a lot of retrospective and reaction videos of Demolition Man have filled YouTube. Posted below are the more entertaining videos to watch about the 1993 movie.

#2 Soy Milk Becomes More Popular In Japan – Soy milk is a dairy-free, plant-based drink made from water and ground soybeans. In recent times, soy milk has gotten tremendously more popular in Japan. Not only is it being consumed by the Japanese in its beverage form, soy milk also made its way into food items and snacks. There is a lot to learn about soy milk’s popularity in Japan in the video below.

#3 Resident Evil Illustrated Tales – Believe it or not, there was a time when comic books and illustrated tales about the Resident Evil games were published from the late 1990s to the early 2000s. Back then, WildStorm (WildCATs, StormWatch, Wetworks) was licensed to make comic adaptations of Resident Evil starting with the Resident Evil: The Official Comic Magazine (published through Image Comics, 1998-1999) which featured varied short stories that expanded the lore but not necessarily counted as canon with the games. YouTube ScorePN posted a video showcasing the Resident Evil illustrated tales so you don’t have to go to all the trouble of finding the comic books and magazines. Watch and enjoy the video below.

#4 Zaxxon Revisited – In the early 1980s, Sega made a huge splash in the arcades and game consoles with Zaxxon which is now considered a classic by many gamers. I only played it on the personal computer back in the 1980s. While my enjoyment of the game was very limited because of the not-so-friendly keyboard controls, I found Zaxxon an intriguing experience due to its isometric visual design and the illusion of 3D space that came with it. Sometimes I wished that Zaxxon would get remastered for the current console generation. That said, it’s now a good time to look back at the game in the two retrospective videos below.

#5 Ashleigh Burton Reacts To Lethal Weapon – Among all the Lethal Weapon movies released by Hollywood, the first film from 1987 is still the best in my view. Apart from having a strong script, the directing by Richard Donner got fine performances from Mel Gibson and Danny Glover, and the spectacle was executed with a lot of power while never feeling outlandish. #1 Tour of Tokyo Game Show 2025 – When I was very young, I used to be obsessed with visiting the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) in direct connection with my love for playing video games and arcade games. The obsession is now gone now that I am much older and console gaming has changed drastically over the past thirty years. From time to time, I watch videos on YouTube that explored the TGS and found two videos of this year’s TGS that are amusing to watch. Watch the videos below.

#2 Pasta in Japan and more – Moving from steak, I found another video about pasta – spaghetti specifically – prepared by Japanese cooks in a local food joint (referred to as a pasta shop) to a lot of people who clearly enjoyed what they ate. You might learn something new about how to prepare a spaghetti for others. Watch the video below.

#3 Learn to Reject Radical Islam – Asmongold TV posted recently a video in which he reacted to another video that specifically focused on how a certain country rejected radical Islam. It is indeed a very sensitive matter but it still is significant because there are so many Islamists – both people from Muslim-majority nations and people in the West who declared themselves strong believers of Islam – worldwide and they are always destructive and extreme. There are these Westerner Islamists who arrogantly declared they want to destroy Western civilization and replace it entirely with Islam. Go watch Asmongold TV’s video now.

#4 Rocky V revisited – Way back in January 1991, I saw Rocky V inside the local cinema with my father and brother. Having enjoyed the first four Rocky movies a lot, we were excited to see Sylvester Stallone reprise his iconic role in the fifth movie even as we wondered where the story will go following Rocky’s victory over Ivan Drago. Ultimately, we, along with many others, left the cinema feeling disappointed with Rocky V’s story and direction. Even though the 1990 film – which had Tommy Morrison and Sage Stallone as new additions plus the short return of Burgess Meredith – was disliked by a lot of Rocky fans, Rocky V still went on to become a popular feature in many movie reaction videos as well as retro video reviews. #5 Ashleigh Burton reacts to The Birds – If you are fond of Ashleigh Burton doing reaction videos and if you are an Alfred Hitchcock enthusiast, then you will be very interested in the YouTuber’s reaction video of 1963’s The Birds. #1 Behind the Scenes of the Tokaido Shinkansen in Japan – I have been to Osaka and Tokyo when I traveled to Japan, but I never had the opportunity to ride the train connecting to both cities. Recently, I spotted this really information and captivating Nippon TV video about the Tokaido Shinkansen which is the high-speed rail line that connects Tokyo with Osaka. The video looks at the operators of the train, why their work involves a lot of precision and what is done to maintain the rail line. I encourage you to watch the video now!

#2 Japanese steak, rice and more – While I ate in several places in Japan during the few visits I made there, I don’t ever remember eating steak there. Recently, I found this video by the Japanese Food Noodles channel which focused on a certain food joint in Japan that specializes on steak. In fact, it is eat-all-you-can steak with rice or some other food. There is a lot to learn here from how to cook steak, how to operate a restaurant, how to keep customers satisfied, and more.

#3 GoodBadFlicks examines cartoons based on video games – Remember decades ago in America when there were these cartoon shows on TV that were based on video game properties? As a kid, I saw several cartoon shows based on video games and they were mostly fun to watch. You can discover more and you might have fun watching the recent video by GoodBadFlicks posted below.

#4 Reaction videos about Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining – Let me start by saying that I am not a fan of the late movie director Stanley Kubrick. I’m not a fan of Stephen King as well. Believe it or not, the two were not aligned with each other when 1980’s The Shining was released in cinemas. Based on King’s novel, the movie was essentially Kubrick’s very own version and he had his creative touch all over it. While King was very turned-off with the cinematic version (which had a younger Jack Nicholson), many moviegoers and film buffs enjoyed Kubrick’s version a lot. It is not surprising that the 1980 film is the subject of multiple videos in YouTube. You can see how The Shining movie impacts YouTubers by watching the selected videos below.

#5 Rhetorical Thrill reacts to Excalibur – I can hardly believe I first saw Excalibur on local TV way back in 1988. Fifteen years later, I saw it on home video and eventually bought my first-ever DVD copy of it some years later. Having replayed Excalibur as an adult, I eventually recognized the established actors like Helen Mirren, Liam Neeson and Patrick Stewart. After checking out recent reaction videos of Excalibur on YouTube, I found the video by Rhetorical Thrill actually entertaining to watch. I encourage you to watch her video below.

#6 The Dazed, the Dumb and the Delusional from the Leftists – Now for some serious stuff. The Satanic Left always have extremists who are delusional, dumb, dazed, and even evil without realizing it. Democrats and their fellow Leftists have so much wokeness, they lost their touch with reality and they cannot realize how wrong they are. The recent edition of Lefties Losing It hosted by Rita Panahi posted below will show you exactly what I mean. Enjoy!

#1 The Fly Revisited – In 1986, The Fly was released in cinemas and it impacted the science fiction genre, the horror genre and pop culture with body horror presentation under the direction of David Cronenberg. The film, which was a remake of the 1958 original, established Geena Davis and Jeff Goldblum as cinematic artists. The movie even became an allegory about AIDS and how people care about those who are living with diseases. That being said, it is not surprising that The Fly became the subject of many YouTube videos in the form of retro reviews, reaction videos and trivia videos. #2 Steve Ditko Remembered – Are you familiar with the late illustrator Steve Ditko? He was the co-creator of Spider-Man and he illustrated the first 38 issues of The Amazing Spider-Man comic book series. Unlike the other Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee (who went on to be famous and celebrated a lot), Ditko had a low-key profile and did not want to be interviewed. #3 Pro-Palestine Activist Riddhi Patel Bashes City Officials And Threatens Them With Violence – I have seen a lot of Islamo-Leftist activists and zealots. Most of the time, they hate Israel and took sides with Palestinians and the Islamic terrorists. Also many of them activists are so extreme, they became entitled, arrogant and disrespectful to higher authorities. In the Communist state of California, the pro-Palestine activist Riddhi Patel spoke to city officials of Bakersfield and went as far as threatening them with violence. #4 Wood-Fired Rice Balls Served By Store in Japan – Have you eaten any freshly cooked onigiri (Japanese rice ball) lately? I live here in the Philippines and because onigiri is not a common food, my only options are to buy them from the convenience store or from a foreign food vendor. In Japan, onigiri is widely available and customers can avail of them freshly cooked. There is this store in Japan that sells onigiri which are prepared with rice (cooked by wood fire) and fresh ingredients. Watch and learn from the video below.

#5 Meet The Programmer Behind The Classic Game Centipede – While I never had the chance to play the classic Atari game Centipede in the arcades in the 1980s, I played the Atari 2600 port a lot and enjoy it. Because I have a copy of the Atari 50 collection on my Xbox Series X, I am able to play the Centipede arcade version in the comfort of home. For the newcomers reading this, Centipede is a tremendous success in the arcades ending up as one of the Top 4 arcade games of 1982 in America. It was also ported to many consoles and home computers years later. Recently, I found a YouTube video featuring Dona Bailey, one of the programmers behind Centipede.

#1 Very In-Depth Retrospective about Saints Row (2006) – Back in 2006, I bought my Xbox 360 console and one of the very first games I bought for it was the original Saints Row. The game exceeded my expectations for a fun-filled open-world experience and in some creative ways, it was more entertaining than the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) games available at the time. Recently, I found what is very clearly the most in-depth and most analytical retrospective video about the game which you must watch now.

#2 The Night Donald Trump Destroyed Hillary Clinton With His Al Smith Dinner Speech – Remember the Al Smith Dinner event of 2016? Al Smith Dinner is the annual white tie dinner held in New York City to raise funds for Catholic charities and it has the notable tradition of having US Presidential candidates as guests every four years. The 2016 edition of the dinner was very memorable because of what Donald Trump said about the wicked Hillary Clinton. Trump’s line of Clinton “pretending not to hate Catholics” drew a lot of reactions and was magnified by the mainstream news media. There is a lot more to be discovered in the video from MAGAMark below.

#3 The Sixth Sense Revisited – When it was first released in cinemas in 1999, The Sixth Sense generated a tremendous amount of word-of-mouth reactions and discussions among local moviegoers. This was because of the twist ending, M. Night Shyamalan’s directing, the intense combination of suspense and fright, and the memorable acting between Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment. It’s not surprising that The Sixth Sense became a popular choice of film for YouTubers to make videos of and you can enjoy watching the selected videos below.

#4 Gradius III Revisited – While I played a lot of video games released by Konami, I never ever got to play Gradius III in the arcade nor on game console. Back in the early 1990s, I remember seeing boxes of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) version of Gradius III displayed in local game stores but I did not have the money to purchase it. None of my neighbors (with SNES consoles in their respective homes) had it. Eventually, I saw some YouTube videos focused on the old game and you can enjoy watching them below.

#5 Okonomiyaki in Japan – I enjoy eating Okonomiyaki which is a Japanese teppanyaki savory pancake dish consisting of wheat flour batter and other ingredients. In my experience, I have not toured Japan for a very long time and there are lots of places there that cook and serve Okonomiyaki to customers. #6 Entitled Illegal Immigrants – Is your local community still literally flooded with illegal immigrants? There is no doubt that crime is connected with illegal immigration and there are even illegal immigrants who believe they are entitled and cannot be held accountable for wrongdoing. #1 Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky Scandal Remembered – Remember how wild the news and opinions were back in 1998 over the scandal of Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky? Even though there was no social media and people’s access to the Internet was not so massive at the time, there was no escaping the media buzz about the scandal which is arguably the most defining scandal of the 1990s. It also made Clinton not only look even more immoral, it damaged the reputation of the Democrats as well. I encourage you all to watch the video below.

#2 The Democrats Who Destroyed Themselves as They Tried to Destroy Donald Trump – By today’s standards, the Democrats of America are the Satanic Left, the Islamo-Leftists, the woke mob, the DEI nuts and also the most foolish group of politicians. #3 Independence Day Revisited – Way back in 1996, I saw Independence Day in a fully packed cinema here in the Philippines, and almost everyone enjoyed it for the thrills and the so-called ride experience. While it was the highest grossing movie of the world during its year of release, Independence Day clearly had flaws and it did not age well in my view. I have no intention to buy a Blu-ray or a 4K Blu-ray copy of it. Still, a lot of YouTubers made videos of the movie and you can see how it impacts them or what they learned about it by watching the selected videos below.

#4 Poltergeist a Cursed Movie? – If you have seen the 1982 film Poltergeist (directed by Tobe Hooper and produced by Steven Spielberg), chances are you got scared and startled while watching it. #5 Foreign Tourists Enjoying Eels in Japan – Have you ever tasted eel with your meal? In Japan, it is a tradition for people to eat eels as those have a place in Japanese cuisine. I’m referring to unagi (Japanese for freshwater eel) which is served as part of unadon which is the popular meal consisting of a donburi type bowl (large size) filled with steamed white rice topped with eel fillets. It is not surprising that as Japan is attracted a high number of visitors from around the world, more foreign tourists there are consuming and enjoying it. Watch and learn from the video below.

Woke Hollywood Pathetically Freaks Out Over Dean Cain’s Decision to Join ICE – I can say it out loud that actor John Leguizamo – who is very woke and allied with illegal aliens and illegal immigrants – is pathetic with his response to Superman Dean Cain’s decision to join United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to serve the nation in getting rid of illegal immigrants. #1 Popcorn in Bed react to Man of Steel – It has been over twelve years since I first saw Man of Steel in the cinema. Directed by Zack Snyder, the 2013 Superman movie had a mixed reception but managed to gross $670 million worldwide and led Warner Bros. to releasing more DC Comics superhero movies in a shared universe (ended in 2023). Recently, Popcorn in Bed finally posted its reaction video of Man of Steel and I can say it is worth the wait. Watch it now.

#2 Where to buy onigiri in Tokyo – Have you tried eating onigiri lately? Onigiri is a rice ball (rice wrapped in nori) popular in Japan and it is eaten by hand. While there is a growing number of convenience stores selling onigiri, there is still nothing like buying freshly made onigiri in dedicated stores or restaurants in Tokyo. Watch and learn from the video below.

#3 Faked presentation of starvation in Gaza exposed! – You might have seen all the news and images about starvation in Gaza through mainstream news outlets such as CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, Reuters, Associated Press, Agence France-Presse, The Washington Post and more. Countless reports and images were published showing Gaza residents (Palestinians) desperate for food made gullible people sympathetic for the hungry while also becoming angry towards Israel. The truth of the matter is that the portrayal of Palestinian starvation is fake, staged and deliberately crafted by the Islamic terrorists who have lots of mainstream news media partners-in-crime with them. There is no real famine in Gaza at all and it is undeniable that Palestinian terrorist group Hamas (loved by the Islamo-Leftist media) stole humanitarian aid to feed themselves leaving nothing for their fellow Gaza residents. #4 Full Metal Jacket reaction videos – Released in 1987, Stanley Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket succeeded in intriguing or even shocking moviegoers whose perception of the Vietnam War got shaken. To be clear, the movie (which starred Matthew Modine, R. Lee Ermey, Vincent D’Onofrio, Adam Baldwin, and Arliss Howard) was more than just about war. It also showed the dehumanizing effects of war preparation, the dark humor that happens during war time and how people react when their emotional limits and sanity were really pushed hard. #5 Slope’s Game Room examines Castlevania game franchise – Since the 1980s, Konami and its talented developers produced a whole lot of Castlevania video games ranging from 2D side-scrolling adventures into 3D polygonal escapades. #1 Calvin Dyson’s The Spy Who Love Me in-depth review – One of the best James Bond-focused YouTubers is Calvin Dyson. Years ago, he posted his in-depth retro review of The Spy Who Loved Me – starring the late Roger Moore – which is pretty entertaining to watch. I saw the 1977 James Bond film a number of times in my life and I can say that Dyson not only made an engaging retro review, he also provided crucial insight about the movie. For those who have not seen The Spy Who Loved Me, watch it first entirely before watching Dyson’s spoileriffic review. Otherwise, enjoy his video belo.

#2 Slope’s Game Room examines Popeye video games – Growing up, I saw cartoon episodes about Popeye. I also read a few comic books about the character and even saw the live-action movie of 1980. When it comes to retro gaming, I played the Popeye Game & Watch game and then the Family Computer (Famicom) port of the Popeye arcade game. I recently found Slope’s Game Room’s retrospective video about Popeye games and to my surprise, there were more video games about the character which I never played. #3 The decades-old conflict between Donald Trump and Rosie O’Donnell – In case you somehow missed the buzz all the time, the conflict between Donald Trump and Rosie O’Donnell has lasted for decades. As far as the modern age is concerned, Trump successfully returned as President of the United States and O’Donnell left America for another country. The truth about Rosie O’Donnell is that you cannot trust her and you should never let her manipulate. Behind all the Hollywood glamor and entertainment glitter, Rosie O’Donnell is problematic and unstable. Her conflict with Trump goes a very long way back and I urge you to watch the video below. It is both entertaining and compelling to watch.

#4 Friday The 13^th (1980) reaction videos – Do you find the 1980 horror movie Friday The 13^th notable if not special at all? For me, there is absolutely nothing special about the slasher horror film directed by Sean Cunningham (read my retro movie review by clicking here). If there is anything notable about it, it would be its economic achievement of grossing almost $60 million worldwide on a negative cost of less than $3 million (including marketing and distribution costs). When it comes to story, cinematic concepts and performances, it is still pretty weak. Still the flaws of Friday The 13^th (1980) did not stop it from becoming a popular film of choice for reaction videos by YouTubers. #5 Reviews of James Gunn’s Superman – Now playing in theaters worldwide, James Gunn’s Superman is bringing in a lot of money. Of course, commercial success does not clearly reflect the film’s overall quality nor the reviews it gathered from the corrupted mainstream media and from independent bloggers and content creators. It also sucks that there are some movie-focused websites that signed marketing deals with contractors of movie studios that guaranteed not only constant film promotion but also the publishing of overall positive reviews. That being said, I encourage you to take time out to watch the selected video reviews of James Gunn’s Superman below sourced from four YouTubers. If you have not seen the new movie in the cinema and you are leaning towards watching it soon, then the videos below are a must-see.

#1 Minty Comedic Arts examines Not Another Teen Movie – As it is undeniably true that Hollywood produced a lot of teen movies from the 1980s into the 1990s, it was inevitable that a parody movie referencing them would get released. 2001’s Not Another Teen Movie did exactly that and by today’s standards, the parody production itself has lots of interesting details to explore which you can see in Minty Comedic Arts’ video below.

#2 Michael Jordan’s memorable moves in Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals – Remember when Michael Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to its 6^th NBA championship in 1998? It took him and his team a lot of effort to win over the revenge-hungry Utah Jazz (which had the homecourt advantage) in the NBA Finals of that year. But there’s more! Before the 1997-98 season even started, there was a lot of intrigue and tension behind the scenes within the Chicago Bulls. Not only that, the Indiana Pacers pushed the Bulls to a full seven games in the Eastern Conference Finals. These developments only added more to the build-up of Jordan’s successful leading of his team to the championship and you can discover more by watching the retrospective video of YouTuber Post2k below.

#3 Slope’s Game Room examines Radiant Silvergun and Ikaruga – Have you ever played Radiant Silvergun or its spiritual sequel Ikaruga? Both games were shooters developed by Treasure, and each of them were widely praised by gamers – especially fans of arcade shooters – around the world. Radiant Silvergun arguably revived the shoot-them-up genre in arcades while Ikaruga had more puzzle-inspired elements to its gameplay. #4 Reaction videos of Jurassic Park III – When Jurassic Park III opened in cinemas in 2001, I was not too excited about it because The Lost World: Jurassic Park was a major disappointment, and my interest in cinematic dinosaurs was weak. I eventually saw the movie at a time when the lineup of movies screened in cinemas was really weak (note: Jurassic Park III was already over a month old in the cinemas) and I got barely entertained. To this day, some Jurassic Park franchise fans are divided over the 3^rd movie’s quality – some found it faster-paced and more fun than its 1997 predecessor while others viewed it as a very rushed side story pretending to be a sequel. #5 You, Me and the Movies react to The Thing (1982) – When The Thing was first released in 1982, the reception from movie critics was negative and the film ended up grossing less than $20 million in the American box office. The movie found its audience on home video, cable TV and television and through the decades, its reputation with moviegoers improved dramatically. #1 Retrospective look back at The Lost World: Jurassic Park – What can be said about 1997’s The Lost World: Jurassic Park? In my view, the Steven Spielberg-directed sequel to Jurassic Park symbolically emphasized how extreme Ian Malcom and Sarah Harding (symbolically the unhinged animal rights activists) would go to protect the dinosaurs (the animals) by causing chaos against their fellow humans while believing in the falsehood they are doing the right thing. As it was one of the biggest box office hits of 1997, it is not surprising to see The Lost World: Jurassic Park become the subject of many reaction videos and retro reviews online. Their attempt failed as they got intercepted at sea by Israel and it is very clear that the area of water by the Gaza strip is restricted. Thunberg LIED about being kidnapped and attacked by Israeli forces when, in fact, she and her companions were treated nicely and humanely by Israel, and they were provided snacks and drinking water. Obviously, Thunberg has a very distorted view of reality and she loves to spread lies a lot. #4 Ashleigh Burton reacts to Mars Attacks – What do you get when you have a UFO invasion concept with Tim Burton as director and an all-star cast? The result is Mars Attacks! from 1996. The film was a cinematic adaptation based on the trading card franchise Mars Attacks, and it was a science fiction tale mixed with dark comedy.
