Recently in the city of Parañaque, two traffic violators were apprehended by the Highway Patrol Group (HGP) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and seized from them a gun, ammunition and even bullet-proof vests to name a few, according to a news article by the Philippine News Agency (PNA). It turns out, the suspects were previously involved in extortion.
To put things in perspective, posted below is an excerpt from the news article of the PNA. Some parts in boldface…
Two persons arrested for traffic violations by the Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) were later found to be behind an extortion scheme using the name of First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos.
HPG Director Brig. Gen. Eleazar Matta said “Joselito” and “JJ Café” failed to present documents when their car was stopped for illegal use of a blinker and protocol plate number “12” (Cabinet undersecretary) along Filipinas Avenue in Parañaque City on Friday.
The HPG operatives also seized a 9mm pistol, ammunition, handheld radios, three bulletproof vests and a C-4 explosive.
“We are investigating because they appear to be ready for any armed confrontation, and why were they carrying C-4?” Matta said in a press conference at Camp Crame in Quezon City on Sunday.
“We are also conducting a follow-up operation because the report we received was that there was another vehicle that was able to flee.”
Ambassador Markus Lacanilao, Special Envoy on Transnational Crime, said Joselito was among the three arrested in an entrapment in Pasay City in March last year but later posted bail.
Joselito’s group allegedly threatened to shut down an emission testing business if the owner would not give PHP5 million. Lacanilao said the apprehended vehicle was the same car used by three suspects.
He also confirmed that JJ Café was the same person who introduced himself as Office of the President undersecretary and a relative of the First Lady to get government contracts.
“They were asking money in exchange for the approval of business lime medicine and emission. And they were showing a video of the man posing as undersecretary at the Office of the President,” Lacanilao said.
Lacanilao advised the public not to yield to extortion demands using the name of the First Family and instead report the matter to authorities.
Let me end this post by asking you readers: What do you think about this recent development? If you are a resident of Parañaque, are you concerned that armed extortionists and fraudsters could be lurking around? Do you know anyone who was extorted over the past twelve months? Was there a business joint in your local community that got harassed by extortionists?

After spending time behind bars in Bicutan, the troublesome Russian streamer Vitaly Zdorovetskiy was recently transferred to the Muntinlupa facility of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), according to a Manila Standard news report. For the newcomers reading this, the Russian streamer caused trouble her in the Philippines which you can see for yourselves by clicking here, here and here.
To put things in perspective, posted below is an excerpt from the news report of the Manila Standard Some parts in boldface…
Detained controversial Russian YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy was transferred from the Bureau of Immigration’s jail in Bicutan to the custody of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in Muntinlupa.
BI Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado said Zdorovetskiy was transferred to the BJMP last June 11 as he faces more local cases in the Philippines.
“Zdorovetskiy will remain in the BJMP’s custody until the resolution of his court cases, before he will be returned to the BI for deportation,” the BI Chief said.
The detained foreigner previously requested for temporary release under bail, but the agency emphasized that no such relief has been granted.
In a document submitted to the BI, Zdorovetskiy claimed he has no intention of evading deportation, and pledged to stay within the National Capital Region. He also said he would immediately submit himself to BI custody should a deportation order be issued against him.
The BI received Zdorovetskiy’s request but made it clear that the Bureau is not inclined to grant his appeal.
“This is not just a matter of administrative procedure—it is about protecting the integrity of our immigration laws,” said Viado.
“Foreign nationals who abuse our hospitality and violate our laws must face the consequences. The Bureau is resolute: we will not allow our deportation process to be undermined by publicity tactics or legal maneuvering. No special treatment will be given.”
Let me end this post by asking you readers: What is your reaction to this recent development? Do you think the Russian streamer will be able to last long behind jail here in the Philippines?

With the theme “Give Life Through the Love of the Passover,” the event aimed to promote the spirit of voluntary blood donation and compassion. It was supported by the Philippine Blood Center and the Las Piñas City Health Office, ensuring safe procedures and medical oversight throughout the activity.
Mayor-elect Aguilar expressed her appreciation for the Church of God’s consistent efforts to support public health, especially through community-based initiatives such as this. She also recognized the volunteers and donors who participated in the drive, noting their contribution to saving lives and strengthening the city’s blood supply reserves.
Let me end this piece by asking you readers: If you are a resident of Las Piñas City, what is your reaction to this development? Do you think that more blood donation drive events should be held locally?

As some of you are already aware, I fully stand with Israel which is very connected with my uncompromising faith in the Lord. I keep on praying to Him for Israel to overwhelm its enemies, rescue the hostages and recover from the effects of the October 7, 2023 terrorist attacks committed by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. I can assure all of you that nobody from the evil Islamo-Leftist mob, nobody from the pro-Palestine radicals, nobody from the terrorist leadership of Iran and nobody from any evil society would stop me from supporting and loving Israel.
Now, on with the latest developments…
It has been days since the war between Israel and the terrorist state of Iran started. This is a war that did not just start out of the blue. In reality, it has been building up for a very long time going back to the aftermath of the 1979 Iranian revolution when the Ayatollah and his henchmen came to power. Iran drastically changed into what is now an Islamic state driven by an evil ideology that includes genocide (including the annihilation of Israel and Western democracy), hatred, violence and terrorism.
No matter what the Islamists, the Leftists and their mainstream news media partners-in-crime (read: Reuters, Associated Press, and Agence France-Presse) say, it cannot be denied that Iran is a terrorist state and their leaders and officials chanted “Death to America”, “Death to Israel” and “Death to England” so many times through the years. Iran also brutalized Iranian civilians who refused to be part of their culture of terrorism.
Along the way, Iran had been lying to the whole world as they kept moving forward with their uranium enrichment program and nuclear projects which were designed for mass destruction, not for energy. Given how hateful and evil Iran’s government really is, they should never be allowed to have nuclear weapons.
That being said, Israel launched a series of strategic aerial attacks in Iran hitting military facilities, nuclear sites and government facilities. Israel is at conflict with the Ayatollah-led government and not the civilians of Iran. In fact, Israel’s assault against Iran is meant to bring down the wicked regime and pave the way for millions of Iran to become free and hopefully move their nation towards Democracy. Israel is also doing the world a favor as Iran intends to be able to fire weapons of mass destruction (WMD) at Europe, Africa and even America.
To learn about the history between Israel and Iran, watch Ben Shapiro’s explanatory video below.
It should be noted that Israel is not only in conflict with Iran. Israel also has terrorist supporter Qatar (which has Islamic terrorist news network and propagandist Al Jazeera), Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, Houthi terrorists and Hezbollah to deal with. Iran funded and armed Hamas, Houthi terrorists and Hezbollah for a long time now. I should also mention that the corrupted mainstream news media remain antagonistic towards Israel and they allowed themselves to be partners-in-crime of Iran and Islamic terrorists.
Israel’s war with Iran is very costly and they are focused on achieving their goals to not only bring down the evil regime but also secure the safety of the Jewish state. Watch the comprehensive videos of travelingisrael and pay close attention to the details.
As mentioned earlier, you cannot rely on the mainstream news media for international updates or breaking news about the Israel-Iran war. Reuters, Associated Press and Agence France-Presse have sold their souls to Islamo-Leftists a long time ago and it is unfortunate that other smaller news organizations worldwide subscribed to their news feed which are filled with lies and distorted details designed to make Israel look bad and make people hate Israel. If you want truth and clarity, better get the news from TBN Israel and Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN). Some selected news videos posted below for you all.
As some of you may be aware right now, I will always stand with Israel and I reject all forms of evil. Learn from what God declared in the holy scriptures below.
Now the Lord had said to Abram:
“Get out of your country,
From your family
And from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.
I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Genesis 12:1-3 (NKJV)
Again God said to him, Your name is Jacob [supplanter]; you shall not be called Jacob any longer, but Israel shall be your name. So He called him Israel [contender with God].
And God said to him, I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall come from you and kings shall be born of your stock;
The land which I gave Abraham and Isaac I will give to you, and to your descendants after you I will give the land.
Genesis 35:10-12 (AMPC)
No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the Lord.
Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV)
Also, let me remind you that Lord Jesus is the hope of all nations. Never allow the forces of evil to bring you down. Never let the wicked ones pull you away from the Lord. Learn from the scriptures below.
For there [is only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,
1 Timothy 2:5 (AMPC)
For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.
Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.
1 Thessalonians 5:9-11 (NKJV)
“I am a true sprouting vine, and the farmer who tends the vine is my Father. He cares for the branches connected to me by lifting and propping up the fruitless branches and pruning every fruitful branch to yield a greater harvest. The words I have spoken over you have already cleansed you. So you must remain in life-union with me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to mine.
“I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless. 6If a person is separated from me, he is discarded; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire to be burned. But if you live in life-union with me and if my words live powerfully within you—then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done. When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are my mature disciples who glorify my Father!
John 15:1-8 (TPT)
Always pray to the Lord in support of Israel, its government, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and its stakeholders. Learn to love and bless the Jewish people and pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Pray to Him for Israel’s victory over terrorist state Iran, for the existence of the Jewish state and Western democracy, and for the freedom of the Iranian people.

Armed with a warrant of arrest, police officers of Marikina City arrested a lesbian helper in Quezon province for the repeated sexual abuse committed in 2024 against the 9-year-old daughter of her employer, according to a Manila Bulletin news report. The suspect has since been transferred to and detained in Marikina City.
To put things in perspective, posted below is an excerpt from the Manila Bulletin news report. Some parts in boldface.
A 40-year-old lesbian nanny was arrested for repeatedly sexually abusing her employer’s nine-year-old daughter in 2024 in Marikina City.
The Eastern Police District (EPD) identified the suspect as “Jennifer,” listed as the district’s No. 3 most wanted person. She was arrested by the Station Intelligence Section of the Marikina City Police Station in Candelaria, Quezon on June 7.
The operation was carried out by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Acting Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 192 in Marikina City. The warrants were for charges of Sexual Assault and 15 counts of Acts of Lasciviousness in relation to RA 7610, issued on January 28.
Authorities said the suspect served as a helper and nanny in the victim’s household in Marikina. The abuse, committed 15 times, took place from August to September 2024.
On September 21, 2024, the victim found the courage to tell her mother about the incident, prompting them to go to their barangay’s Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) desk, where they were assisted in reporting it to the police.
EPD District Director Brig. Gen. Aden T. Lagradante vowed to boost efforts to protect children and keep communities safe to help reduce cases of child abuse.
“Nakakadurog ng puso ang nangyari sa inosenteng bata. Paglalaro at kasiyahan lang sana ang nasa kanyang isipan ngunit sa murang edad ay naranasan na niya ang karahasan ng isang mapagsamantala sa kanyang kahinaan (What happened to the innocent child is truly heartbreaking. At her age, she should have only been thinking about play and joy, but instead, she experienced violence at the hands of someone who took advantage of her vulnerability),” he said.
Let me end this piece by asking you readers: What is your reaction to this development? Do you think the apprehended lesbian suspect will be found guilty of committing child abuse? Do you think that there is a link between homosexuality and the sexual abuse on children? Do you think the victim and her family will get justice?
Recently it was discovered in Las Piñas City that the illicit sale of P3.5 million worth of unregistered fertilizer and pesticide took place and already the Department of Agriculture (DA) supports legal action against those who were involved, according to a Philippine News Agency (PNA) news article. The local authorities successfully pulled off an entrapment operation at a Las Piñas City warehouse.
To put things in perspective, posted below is an excerpt from the PNA news article. Some parts in boldface…
The Department of Agriculture (DA) on Tuesday backed the legal action against those involved in the illicit sale of PHP3.5 million worth of unregistered fertilizers and pesticides in Las Piñas City.
The Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority (FPA) and the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) nabbed four individuals for the illegal sale of unlicensed agricultural chemicals in an entrapment operation at a warehouse in Las Piñas City on May 30.
In a news release, DA Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. supported the recommendation of the Las Piñas City prosecutor to file charges for violation of the Fertilizer and Pesticides Act.
“We welcome this decisive action by the Las Piñas City prosecutor to pursue charges against individuals whose illegal activities not only harm our farmers and agricultural productivity but also undermine President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s vision of a food-secure Philippines,” he said.
The four respondents, who posed as representatives of WLEX Co. Philippines Inc., will face charges for violation of Section 8(a) and 9 of Presidential Decree No. 1144, which both prohibits the “production, importation, distribution, storage, and sale” of unlicensed agricultural inputs, fertilizers, and pesticides, according to the inquest resolution.
FPA Executive Director Glenn Estrada warned individuals involved in agricultural smuggling that it will intensify its actions against illicit trade.
“We cannot allow unscrupulous traders to shortchange our farmers by selling substandard products that compromise their ability to increase yields,” he said.
In an earlier report, the DA said the entrapment operation resulted in the seizure of 641 one-liter bottles of Axonic pesticide, 748 one-liter bottles of Sapphire pesticide, 220 one-liter bottles of Chlonil pesticide, four sacks of Welzeb, and bio-stimulant Nutrinaro SC, with multiple variants of 5,590 sachets (10g), 345 sachets (50g), and 90 sachets (5g).
The Axonic, Sapphire, Chlonil, and Welzeb brands are unregistered and illegal, according to the FPA.

Recently the incoming Parañaque District 2 Representative Brian Yamsuan confirmed that he is banking on twin livelihood and employment programs to improve the financial literacy of his constituents, according to a Manila Bulletin news report.
To put things in perspective, posted below is an excerpt from the news report of the Manila Bulletin. Some parts in boldface…
Parañaque City 2nd district representative-elect Brian Raymund Yamsuan is eyeing a “culture of financial literacy” for his constituents through his twin livelihood and employment programs.
Yamsuan, who served as Bicol Saro Party-list representative in the 19th Congress, said he will make financial literacy a key component of the training received by livelihood program beneficiaries in a bid to them make informed and responsible decisions about the funds they have received from the government.
These include recipients of Yamsuan’s “Bigay Negosyo” and “Dagdag Puhunan Para sa Kabuhayan” programs, which he has been implementing in his home district in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), respectively.
“Ang layunin natin ay maging ‘wais’ ang bawat Parañaqueño sa paghawak ng kanilang pera, simula dito sa distrito dos (Our goal is to make every Parañaqueno handle their money wisely, starting here in district two),” he said.
“Many people think that financial literacy is a daunting, complex idea. We will partner with private sector groups to simplify and explain financial concepts so that they would be easy to understand and put into practice,” Yamsuan noted.
“Kasama na sa financial literacy program ang pagtuturo sa kanila kung paano mag-budget, mag-ipon, mag-invest, humiram ng karagdagang pondo at magkaroon ng kaalaman tungkol sa mga financial products and services na maari nilang gamitin para mapalago ang kanilang maliit na negosyo,” explained the former Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) secretary.
(Included in the financial literacy program is teaching them how to budget, save, invest and borrow additional funds and other knowledge about financial products and services that they can use to expand their small businesses.)
“Developing a culture of financial literacy should be our first step towards financial inclusion where every Filipino, regardless of his economic status, has easy and affordable access to financial services,” he added.
Yamsuan said he is also planning to include “ayuda” or cash aid beneficiaries in his financial literacy program.
“The government allocates billions of pesos each year under the national budget to fund livelihood programs and provide ‘ayuda’ to our low-income countrymen. Financial literacy will not only help recipients of these support programs make rational decisions about the money they receive, but will also mean less ‘ayuda’ and other forms of social protection going to waste due to poor financial decisions,” he said.
Let me end this post by asking you readers: What do you think about this recent development? If you are a resident of Parañaque, do you think Congressman-elect Yamsuan’s twin programs will succeed in making his constituents more knowledgeable about financial literacy? Do you think a more financial literate population is the key to cutting down people’s dependence on ayuda or assistance from the government? How many members of your local community became dependent on ayuda since the COVID-19 pandemic?
