Del Rosario And Caluya Rule National Age Group Aquathlon Sprint Junior Elite

PETER Sancho Del Rosario and Anisha Eunice Caluya dominated their respective division in the sprint junior elite category of the National Age Group Aquathlon (NAGA) held at the Amoranto Sports Complex in Quezon City yesterday.

Del Rosario ruled the men’s division with a time of 15 minutes and 54 seconds.

“I feel very accomplished today, I was thinking about my strategy last night and I think I executed that perfectly,” said 16-year-old from Santa Rosa, Laguna.

Darell Johnson Bada settled for second in 16:07, improving his 16:51 perfomance in winning last year’s crown. Giro Don Rafael Gito place third with a time of 16:25 but also improved the 17:13 he registered to claim the silver last year.

Caluya, on the other hand, clocked 18:00 to defend the women’s title over Kariel Rosacena of El Nido Teen Sharks (22:10).

“Today, I’m so happy that I was still able to come up with a good performance despite the numerous international and local competitions,” said the 19-year-old Caluya of De La Salle University.

After this year’s Subic Bay International Triathlon, she will make her debut at the Asian Junior Cup scheduled on June 10-14 in Kampar, Malaysia.

Meanwhile, Dustin Dame Eslay of North Pine Aquatic Swim Team and national team mainstay Erika Burgos bagged the gold medals in the sprint elite men and women divisions, respectively.

Other sprint winners were Ralf Bernhard (16-19), Jan Mikaela Caruncho (20-29); and Fritzie Labastida and Patty Dimaano-Moncera (40-49).

In the U15 Youth 13-15 category, the Top 3 winners Pio Mishael Gabriel Latonio (15:11), Remsen Balog-Asan Cayowet (15:37) and Kurt Evans (15:55) in the boys division, while in the girls division were Alainia Bouffaut (7:14), Eliesse Julia Dela Cruz (17:35) and Jovie Yzelle Calisog (17:37).

In the Super TriKids, Gavin Tantoco and Ma. Georjina Pacquing-Sumale pocketed the gold medals in the boys’ and girls’ 9-10 divisions, while Knight Hiliel and Ysabella Leana ruled the under-6 category.

Other winners in the Standard category were Aivan Dail Toquero and Kiandra Emiko Lee (18-24); Joshua Abante and Mariniell Clarete (25-29); Fil-Maur Louis Nacion and Jemimah Abdrea Fajardo (30-34); Renze Rovie Banawa and Patricia Anne Castillo (40-44); Boj Cardona (45-49) and Dato Arroyo (50-54).

MOU For May 17 National Age Group Aquathlon (NAGA) Formally Signed In Quezon City

The stage is set for the 2026 National Age Group Aquathlon (NAGA) event scheduled for May 17 at the Amoranto Sports Swimming Pool as the Quezon City Government and Triathlon Philippines (TriPhil) formally signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) this past Monday.

The MOU was signed by the Honorable Vice Mayor Gian G. Sotto together with Triathlon Philippines president Tom Carrasco and Nico Carrasco which was witnessed by many local officials. This development highlights a strong partnership between the City Government and TriPhil for grassroots sports development.

Philippines Wins Two Silvers And A Bronze In 2025 SEA Games Individual Triathlon Contests

The Philippines won the two silver medals and a bronze in the individual triathlon contests of the 2025 Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) held yesterday in Thailand. The two silver medalists Kira Ellis (women’s triathlon) and Andrew Kim Remolino (men’s triathlon) delivered their best as they encountered strong competitors in their respective races while also struggling with health problems.

Despite battling food poisoning, Philippine triathletes Kira Ellis and Kim Remolino pushed through to claim silver in their individual events, with Fernando Jose Casares bagged bronze at the 2025 SEA Games.

Kira Ellis didn’t just race against the field in the women’s individual triathlon at the 33rd SEA Games—she also raced against her own body.

The 19-year-old Filipino triathlete revealed she was hospitalized after falling ill following the team relay events, leaving her with limited time to recover ahead of the individual race. Yet when it mattered most, she still found a way to stand on the podium.

Despite the health scare, Ellis bagged silver to add another chapter to what has been a breakout 2025 SEA Games campaign in Thailand.

She finished with a time of 01:01:03, while Indonesia’s Martina Ayu Pratiwi claimed gold in 01:00:11. Singapore’s Herlene Natasha Yu Zhihui rounded out the podium with 01:02:41.

Ellis and Ayu were virtually even through the swim, bike and even on both T1 and T2 transitions, but Ayu edged ahead during the run, covering the final leg 45 seconds faster than the Philippine triathlete.

“It was a crazy lead-up to the individual race,” Ellis shared in a post-race interview. “I got food poisoned after the triathlon relays and I was at the hospital that night. We were supposed to be resting in between the days before this.“

The illness also struck close to home, as teammate Raven Alcoseba was forced to miss the individual event after suffering the same fate.

“I was lucky I got it earlier and had a day to rest,” Ellis said. “She got it the night before, and it was really unfortunate. She should be here more than me—she’s our strongest athlete. I’m really heartbroken that we couldn’t race together because I know we could’ve done it side by side.”

Already proven on the international stage—most recently winning the Europe Triathlon Junior Cup in Riga, Latvia—Ellis admitted the illness took a physical toll, but it never broke her focus.

“It did affect my energy, but the training was there,” she bared. “Despite everything, you just have to block it out and give your best.”

The silver medal capped a demanding schedule that saw Ellis compete in five events at the Games, walking away with an impressive haul: two golds in the women’s and mixed team triathlon, plus silvers in the mixed team aquathlon, the all-women relay, and the individual race.

By the time she crossed the finish line, the result felt bigger than any medal.

“I’m happy. I raced in five events, and I couldn’t be prouder of my teammates. Everyone came here and gave their best,” Ellis said.

In the men’s individual event, the Philippines celebrated a strong showing as Kim Remolino and Fernando Jose Casares claimed silver and bronze, respectively.

But it was Rashif Amila Yaqin of Indonesia who stole the spotlight, clocking a winning time of 54:37 to dethrone Casares, who had taken gold in the same event at the 2023 edition in Cambodia.

Remolino — much like Ellis — had to battle through the lingering effects of food poisoning and went head-to-head with Yaqin throughout the race.

The Filipino triathlete matched Yaqin with a 28:31 bike split, but the Indonesian pulled ahead in the swim and run to keep the gold out of reach. In the end, he crossed the finish line at 55:03, while teammate Fernando Jose Casares settled for 56:56.

Silver medal of SEA Games mixed relay captured

The other day (December 18), the Philippines won the silver medal of the mixed relay duathlon contest thanks to the combined efforts of Erika Burgos, Maynard Pecson, Merry Joy Trupa, and Franklin Ferdie Yee. Posted below is an excerpt from the sports news report of ABS-CBN.

The mixed team relay of Erika Burgos, Maynard Pecson, Merry Joy Trupa, and Franklin Ferdie Yee copped a silver for the Philippines in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games duathlon competitions at the Laem Mae Phim Beach in Rayong, Thailand.

The squad clocked one hour, 35 minutes, and 35 seconds to secure a podium finish on Thursday, sneaking in to grab a medal after running fourth at one point in the race.

Trupa helped the Philippines move in contention for a medal when she clocked the best time of 24:26 among the participants in the third leg.

The anchor Yee closed the race with the second-best time with 23:18 to finish the race that featured a 2km run, 8km bike, and 1km run course.

The Indonesia team of Martina Ayu Pratiwi, Azizah Khunsul Qotimah, Ronald Bintang Setiawan, and Alias Praji took the gold in 1:33:58. Singapore clinched the bronze with a time of 1:36:47.

The women’s and men’s team relay both finished fourth, the day after the Philippines swept all three events in the triathlon relay events.

Philippines Wins Three Triathlon Relay Gold Medals At The 2025 SEA Games

The Philippines won the gold medals in the all-women triathlon relay, the all-men triathlon relay and the mixed triathlon events of the 2025 Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) held yesterday in Thailand which has since been reported by GMA News (click here) and the Philippine Daily Inquirer (click here and here) and revealed via social media by Triathlon Philippines and the Philippine Sports Commission (click here, here, here and here). The Daily Tribune and the Manila Standard also published their respective stories (click here and here).

The Philippines continued its golden surge in the 2025 SEA Games after its triathlon teams delivered a pair of gold medals on Wednesday in Thailand.

The men’s and women’s squads both ruled the team relay competitions, adding two more gold medals to the country’s tally with three days left in the biennial event.

The women’s team, composed of Kira Ellis, Kim Mangrobang, and Raven Alcoseba, reigned supreme after clocking in one hour, 10 minutes, and 14 seconds.

Indonesia’s Martina Ayu Pratiwi, Kayla Nadia Shafa, and Renata Berliana Aditya copped the silver with 1:10:48 while Singapore’s Yen Ling Kathlyn Yeo, Louisa Marie Middleditch, and Herlene Natasha Yu settled for bronze with 1:12:00.

The Philippine men’s team also shone with Aki Lorbes, Matthew Hermosa, and Fernando Casares by finishing the relay in one hour, four minutes, and five seconds.

The Philippines proved its dominance in triathlon after ruling the mixed team relay in the 2025 Southeast Asian Games on Wednesday in Thailand.

The quartet of Kira Ellis, Fernando Casares, Kim Remolino, and Raven Alcoseba dominated the event to clinch the country’s third triathlon gold medal.

Earlier, Ellis and Alcoseba teamed up with Kim Mangrobang to reign supreme in the women’s team relay while Cesares connived with Aki Lorbes and Matthew Hermosa to emerge victorious in the men’s team relay event.

The Philippines first stamped its authority in the mixed relay back in 2019, with former triathlon stars John Chicano, Maria Claire Adorna, along with Mangrobang and Casares, leading the charge to gold.

In the sports story of the Manila Standard, a tactical move was done which turned out to be crucial in achieving the gold medal victories.

For the newcomers reading this, yesterday was the 2^nd day of SEA Games action for the Philippine’s multisport team. There are still other multisport contests pending as of this writing.

Team Philippines nabbed two silver medals and a bronze in the aquathlon in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games on Tuesday at Leam Mae Phim, Klaeng Distic in Rayong.

Kira Ellis, Matthew Hermosa, Raven Faith Alcoseba, and Andrew Remolino clocked 1:04:58 to finish with a silver medal in the mixed team relay final.

The group fell short of surpassing Indonesia’s 1:04:14 as the latter won gold in the event. Malaysia finished with a bronze medal, finishing the race at 1:08:37.

Ellis, with Erika Nicole Burgos and Kim Mangrobang, also had a runner-up finish in the women’s relay final, with a time of 51:46.

Indonesia escaped the Philippines anew, winning the gold with a time of 51:23. Singapore won bronze with a 53:58 finish.

Remolino, Inaki Emil Lorbes, and Joshua Alexander Ramos earned a bronze medal from the men’s relay event, clocking 47:52.

Reig and Salazar Top Sprint Elite in 2025 National Aquathlon Championships

This past weekend, Philippine team members Irienold Reig, Jr., and Katrina Almuete Salazar won the Sprint Elite titles of the 2025 National Aquathlon Championships in Quezon City. The official race results have been released online by Triathlon Philippines (click here).

Irienold Reig hugged the limelight in the National Aquathlon Championships 2025 after dominating the sprint men’s elite division Sunday at the Amoranto Sports Center in Quezon City.

The Quezon City resident clocked 17 minutes and 11 seconds.

Juan Miguel Tayag of Angeles City, Pampanga bagged the silver medal with a time of 17:20 while Daniel Cadavos of Bukidnon settled for the bronze medal in 17:41.

“The goal is to win and I’m glad that I accomplished it today,” said Reig, who placed third behind Joshua Alexander Ramos and Iñaki Emil Lorbes in the Standard Elite category of the National Age Group Aquathlon at the Ayala-Vermosa Sports Hub in Imus, Cavite last March.

Reig (7:20) was behind Tayag (7:17) in the swim stage, but came back strong in the running stage with a time of 9:18 against Tayag’s 9:30.

“I’ll keep on training and hope to win more titles,” said Reig, runner-up to Matthew Hermosa in the Sun Life 5150 Bohol triathlon last July.

Katrina Almuete Salazar, a fourth year dentistry student from University of the East, topped the women’s Elite division in 19 minutes and 23 seconds.

“I’m happy with my performance, this is a training race just to chck my condition,” said Salazar, who competed in the Asian Triathlon Cup in Gamagori, Japan last week.

In the junior category, Darell Johnson Bada was crowned champion in the men’s division after crossing the finish line with a time 0f 16 minutes and 51 second. Giro Don Rafael Gito (17:13) was second followed by John Micheal Lalimos (17:16).

The women’s title went to Anisha Eunice Caluya, who clocked 18:53. Dhana Victoria Seda-Lomboy (19:57) took the silver medal while Qaantreulle Light Wangkay (21:22) bagged the bronze medal.

Quezon City Vice Mayor Gian Sotto awarded the medals to the podium finishers.

“Thank you for the Triathlon Philippines for giving us the opportunity, thank you for partnering with us in the government to make everything possible,” said Sotto, who was accompanied by Amoranto Sports Complex head Martin Julian Vicente Manese.

2025 National Age Group Aquathlon and National Age Group Duathlon highlights at Vermosa Sports Hub

Welcome back, multisports athletes and sports enthusiasts! The highlights of the 2025 National Age Group Aquathlon and 2025 National Age Group Duathlon held this past weekend at the Vermosa Sports Hub are revealed below.

Alaina Bouffaut displayed her best form to dominate the girls Under-15 category in the National Age Group Aquathlon and Duathlon at the Ayala-Vermosa Sports Hub in Imus, Cavite.

The 12-year-old Filipino-French finished the 400m swim-2.5km run aquathlon competition in 18 minutes and 17 seconds to beat Christy Ann Perez (18:35) and Naomi Rozeboom (18:45) last Saturday.

On Sunday, she claimed victory in duathlon (3km run-10km bike-1.5km run) with a time of 41:48, prevailing over Kaia Christiana Gica (42:32) and Naomi Rozeboom (42:44).

“I feel good,” said Bouffaut, whose mother is from Cagayan Valley.

“It’s nice to win, this is my first time competing in the U15 category,” added the Grade 7 student who dominated the 11-12 category for two years.

Bouffaut’s schoolmate, Johan Joey Marcelo won the gold medal in duathlon with a time of 35:30.

“I felt that I’m going to get a podium, but not the gold,” said the 14-year-old Marcelo, a member of Sante Barley Nextstep Tri Team.

“I was not feeling well since Wednesday, I just took a rest. I’m happy that I won,” added Marcelo, who bagged a silver medal in the Ironkids Subic and a bronze in Ironkids Duathlon in Davao last year.

Meanwhile, Ruan Azriel Santos and Jan Christel Culanag also pocketed two gold medals in the 6 and under category of the tournament which is part of Triathlon Philippines’ grassroots and talent identification program.

Santos (4:31) beat Ivo Gadiel Kanlas (4:49) in aquathlon (50m swim-200m run). He clocked 14:01 in duathlon (400m run-1km bike-200m run).

Culanag (4:49) beat Rafaela Tifany Marie Culala (12:12) in aquathlon and clocked 14:01 to win the gold medal in duathlon over Lucia Ysabel Sarmenta (20:02) in the girls division.

Other Super Tri Kids duathlon winners were Thomas Miguel Edangal and Naomi Dimayuga in the 11-12 category (2km-8km-1km); Enrique Jose Dela Rosa and Pia Gienne Meiko Gito in the 9-10 category (1km-6km-500m); and Zavier Caeden Prequenza and Stacey Ailia Aisha Escala in the 7-8 category (800m-2km-400m).

Other champions in aquathlon were Pele Matteo Latonio and Elise Salas in the 11-12 category (300m-1.5km); Jairus Achilles Bongotan and Athena Masadao in the 9-10 category (200m-1km); and Eli Julian Dela Cruz and Stacey Ailia Aisha Escala in the 7-8 category (100m-500m).

In the sprint elite category in duathlon (5km-20km-2.5km), Franklin Yee and Merry Joy Trupa ruled their respective divisions.

Yee won the gold medal in 57:13 over Irienold Reig Jr. (57:16) and Patrick Ciron (57:26) in the men’s division.

Trupa clocked 1:05:41 to beat Katrina Salazar (1:05:56) and Rachel Sarah Wei Ying (1:06:57) in the women’s division.

The National Age Group Aquathlon and Duathlon tournaments were supported by the Philippine Sports Commission, Milo, Asian Centre for Insulation, Gatorade, Fitbar and RaceYa.

John Alexander Ramos and Erika Nicole Burgos won their respective Elite titles during the 2025 National Age Group Aquathlon event yesterday at the Vermosa Sports Hub in Cavite, according to a sports news article published by the Philippine New Agency (PNA).

Joshua Alexander Ramos delivered a fine performance to claim victory in the Standard Men Elite of the National Age Group Aquathlon 2025 at the Ayala-Vermosa Sports Hub in Imus, Cavite on Saturday.

The 23-year-old member of the Baguio Benguet Triathlon club clocked 31 minutes and 19 seconds in the 1km-swim and 5km-run competition.

“I joined this tournament to test my fitness and I’m glad I won,” said Ramos, a second-year marketing management student at the University of Baguio.

Last year, he was runner-up to Cebuano Kim Andrew Remolino in the race that only covered 500 meters (swim) and 2.5 km. (run).

Remolino and Matthew Hermosa did not join due to a Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) regional qualifying.

“Even if they are not here, I can say that I gave my best,” said Ramos, who won four medals in swimming – two golds (400m and 1500 freestyle), one silver (4x200m freestyle), and one bronze (4×100 freestyle) at the 2024 PRISAA National Games in Legazpi City, Albay.

Iñaki Emil Lorbes registered 31:28 to finish second despite nursing a right ankle injury he sustained two weeks ago in training. Irienold Reig Jr. (32:12) was third.

Meanwhile, Erika Nicole Burgos defended the women’s title, clocking 34 minutes and 17 seconds to prevail over Wan Ting of Singapore (35:01) and Lady Samantha Jhunace Corpuz (35:50).

“The course is difficult, it’s exhausting,” said Burgos of Tanauan, Batangas.

She will join the National Age Group Duathlon on Sunday.

“I’ll do my best to win (in the National),” said Burgos, who won the gold medal in the 2023 Asian Duathlon Championships at the New Clark City Sports Complex.

In the Junior Elite category, Joshua’s younger brother, Dayshaun Karl, topped the men’s division in 16:37. Darell Johnson Bada (16:40) ranked second followed by Peter Sancho Del Rosario (16:44).

Dhana Victoria Seda-Lomboy clocked 18:45 to win the women’s title over Maria Celinda Raagas (21:42).

Edison Badillo (PTS2), Raul Angoluan (PTS3), Alex Silverio (PTS4), and Joshua Nelmida with guide Bernard Matthew Cruz (PTVI) won their respective divisions in the para category of the event organized by the Triathlon Philippines (TriPhil) headed by Tom Carrasco.

The 2025 National Age Group Aquathlon event in Vermosa was sponsored by the Philippine Sports Commission, Milo, Asian Center for Insulation, Gatorade, Fitbar, and RaceYa.

2025 National Age Group Aquathlon and Duathlon set to happen at Vermosa Sports Hub this weekend

Welcome back, multisports athletes and sports enthusiasts! The Vermosa Sports Hub will be hosting the National Age Group Aquathlon and the National Age Group Duathlon events this weekend in Cavite. Specifically, the aquathlon is on March 1 while the duathlon is on March 2. There will also be several significant athletes participating in the said events.

These events of Triathlon Philippines (TriPhil) are supported by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Milo, Standard Insurance, LeGarde, Gatorade, Asian Centre for Insulation Philippines, Inc., Fitbar and RaceYa. Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub is the venue partner.

Recently, the news article of the National Age Group Aquathlon and National Age Group Duathlon was published by the Philippine News Agency (PNA) with an emphasis on who will be competing this weekend. Posted below is the excerpt of the news release but be aware the word “championships” is inaccurate. Some parts in boldface.

All is set for the National Age Group Aquathlon and Duathlon Championships this weekend at the Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub in Cavite.

The aquathlon event is set on March 1 and the duathlon the next day.

Merry Joy Trupa and Marion Kim Mangrobang lead the title contenders in a duathlon in the tournament organized by the Triathlon Philippines (TriPhil) headed by Tom Carrasco.

Trupa won the silver medal while Mangrobang settled for the bronze medal at the 2025 Asia Triathlon Duathlon Championships in Manama, Bahrain last Sunday.

Trupa finished the 5km run-30km bike-5km run in 1:29:16, behind Chinese Ziqing Lu (1:28:24). Mangrobang champion, clocked 1:33:14.

Mangrobang is a three-time champion in triathlon and back-to-back gold medalist in duathlon at the SEA Games.

She leads the women’s Elite, Under 23 and Junior squad which include Raven Faith Alcoseba, Kira Ellis, Erika Nicole Burgos, Lady Samantha Jhunace Corpuz and Katrina Salazar.

The men’s Elite and Under 23 team is composed of Filipino-Spanish Fernando Casares, Andrew Kim Remolino, Matthew Justine Hermosa, Joshua Alexander Ramos, Iñaki Emil Lorbes, Juan Miguel Tayag and Juan Francisco Baniqued, while the Junior Elite roster has Dayshaun Karl Ramos, Darell Johnson Bada, Euan Arrow Ramos and Peter Sancho del Rosario.

SEA Games double-gold medalist John Leerams Chicano banners the men’s duathlon team. Joining him are Maynard Pecson, John Patrick Ciron, Irienold Reig Jr. and Franklin Yee.

With Trupa in the women’s team are Jena Valdez and Bea Marie Quiambao.

Remolino and Burgos top National Age Group Aquathlon 2024 at Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub

This past weekend, Southeast Asia Games (SEA Games) medalists Andrew Kim Remolino and Erika Nicole Burgos topped the National Age Group Aquathlon 2024 event at the Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub in Cavite.

Andrew Kim Remolino lived up to expectations and defended the men’s elite title in the National Age Group Aquathlon 2024 at Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub in Imus, Cavite on Sunday. The event is part of the preparations for the 2025 Southeast Asian Games (2025 SEA Games) which will be held in Thailand.

Remolino, a native of Talisay City in Cebu province, finished the 500-meter swim and 2.5-kilometer run event in 15 minutes and 12 seconds.

Joshua Alexander Ramos of Baguio Benguet Triathlon secured the silver medal in 15:27 while Matthew Justine Hermosa, another Cebuano, settled for the bronze medal in 15:39.

“I’m so happy because we have been preparing for this tournament for months. We had back-to-back races the past weeks. We’re glad that we were able to deliver a good performance here,” the 23-year-old Remolino, a silver medalist in aquathlon at the 2023 Cambodia Southeast Asian Games (SEAG), said.

In the women’s division, 22-year-old Erika Nicole Burgos of Tanauan City, Batangas registered a personal-best 17:28 to claim the gold medal in the tournament organized by the Triathlon Philippines. Raven Faith Alcoseba, also from Cebu, placed second in 17:52, while Katrina Salazar was third in 18:01.

“I didn’t expect today’s results and I just have to keep working for the next race,” Burgos, a senior sports science student from University of the Philippines, said.

She was part of the winning mixed team, also in the Cambodia SEAG, with Hermosa, Iñaki Emil Lorbes and Kira Ellis.

Meanwhile, Singaporean Cheng Yu Lim topped the men’s junior elite category in 15:19. Filipinos Dayshaun Ramos (15:52) and Juan Miguel Tayag (16:40) were second and third, respectively.

Dhana Victoria Seda-Lomboy clocked 19:26 to bag the gold medal in the women’s division. Candace Marie Socito (20:49) took the silver and Edellaine Mae Diggs (21:30) got the bronze.

In the men’s division of the Youth (13-15 yearS) category, Peter Sancho Del Rosario pocketed the gold medal in 13:45.

Diego Jose Dimayuga (14:05) captured the silver medal and Euan Arrow Ramos (14:17) grabbed the bronze medal.

The top three finishers in the women’s division were Thailand’s Pitchanart Sripipom (16:08), Filipino Christy Ann Perez (16:26) and Singaporean Nur Isabella Schiering (16:44).

National Age Group Aquathlon 2024 set for September 29 at Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub, registration ongoing

Calling all the multisport enthusiasts, the triathletes, swimmers and other active lifestyle enthusiasts! The National Age Group Aquathlon 2024 event is all set to happen on September 29 at the Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub in Cavite. Race distances are as follows:

STK-Aqua:

6 yrs. old & under 50m swim – 100m run

7- 8 yrs. old 100m swim – 200m run

9-10 yrs. old 200m swim – 400m run

11-12 yrs. old 300m swim – 1.5k run

Youth Category: 300m swim – 2.5k run

Elite Category: 500m swim – 2.5k run

Age Group: 500m swim – 2.5k run

Race categories are as follows:

Elite Men and Women: 18 years old and over

Jr. Elite Men and Women: 16-19 years old
