COVID-19 Crisis: Cashless Transaction in Public Transportation for Muntinlupa Frontliners and Government Employees Confirmed

Yesterday the City Government of Muntinlupa confirmed that frontliners and government employees in their city will benefit from cashless transactions with regards to public transportation as a result of a strategic partnership with a private sector member.
The strategic partner here is Star 8 Green Technology Corporation which donated five hundred tap cards to the city frontliners and government employees. The executives of Star 8 turned over tap cards with P50 worth of stored value for cashless transactions in their company’s electric jeepneys (e-jeepneys) servicing the route along Alabang-Zapote Road.
The Star 8 tap cards will be distributed to health workers in Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM), Ospital ng Muntinlupa, and employees from the City Government of Muntinlupa.

Those who attended the turn-over ceremony were Star 8 chief operating officer Netanel Kremer and head sales Cyril Aguadera, Muntinlupa Traffic Management Bureau chief Danidon Nolasco, and OsMun director Dr. Edwin Dimatatac.
Recently, the corporation provided ten e-jeepneys to service two routes in Muntinlupa to help stranded frontliners and government employees during the general community quarantine.

SOSIA issues advisory on the confiscation of driver’s license by security guards
Hey readers! Has any security guard confiscated your driver’s license in recent times? The latest news and details below deserve your attention.
The Supervisory Office for Security and Investigation Agencies (SOSIA) issued on June 15 a new advisory signed by Acting Chief Police Colonel Sidney N. Villaflor regarding the confiscation of driver’s license by security guards. This is pursuant to Republic Act Number 4136 (An Act to Compile The Laws Relative To Land Transportation and Traffic Rules, To Create a Land Transportation Commission and For Other Purposes) regarding the power to secure and/or confiscate drivers licenses are lodged under the capacity of LTO personnel and others who are duly deputized by the said Agency.
Below for your viewing and reading is the picture of the June 15, 2020 advisory from SOSIA.
Item #2 on the advisory states as follows: This pertains to incidents wherein security guards deployed in private villages and subdivisions require the drivers of vehicles to surrender their driver’s licenses prior entering the premises, as directed by the Home Owners Associations’ (HOAs’) leadership.
Item #3 makes clear that the power to secure and/or confiscate driver’s licenses are lodged under the capacity of personnel of the Land Transportation Office (LTO), and others who got deputized by the said Agency.
Item #4 is the hot one and it makes clear who or what organizations do NOT have any authority to confiscate driver’s licenses. It reads as follows: the HOAs and the security guards of subdivisions, villages and condominiums are not authorized under traffic laws to take custody, even on a temporary basis, the license issued by the LTO.
For more insight, Section 29 of RA 4136 states as follows:
Confiscation of Driver’s License. – Law enforcement and peace officers of other agencies duly deputized by the Director shall, in apprehending a driver for any violation of this Act or any regulations issued pursuant thereto, or of local traffic rules and regulations not contrary to any provisions of this Act, confiscate the license of the driver concerned and issue a receipt prescribed and issued by the Bureau therefor which shall authorize the driver to operate a motor vehicle for a period not exceeding seventy-two hours from the time and date of issue of said receipt. The period so fixed in the receipt shall not be extended, and shall become invalid thereafter. Failure of the driver to settle his case within fifteen days from the date of apprehension will be a ground for the suspension and/or revocation of his license.
Item #5 clarifies that drivers of vehicles entering the above stated properties may present to the security guards any valid ID cards issued by the government. As such, the security guards are supposed to be professional in their work while being courteous to everyone.
Here in South Metro Manila, the cities of Parañaque, Las Piñas and Muntinlupa have a lot of subdivisions or villages combined. From time to time, I saw written feedback by other uses on social media that some incidents occurred in which drivers trying to enter a village had no choice but to surrender the driver’s license because other government-issued ID cards (example: COMELEC ID card) were not accepted by the security guard at the gate.
Now that the SOSIA June 15, 2020 advisory above makes clear that HOAs and security guards are not authorized to confiscate driver’s licenses at all, drivers are more protected. In fact, Section 19 of RA 4136 specifically states: The license shall be carried by the driver at all times when operating a motor vehicle, and shall be shown and/or surrendered for cause and upon demand to any person with authority under this Act to confiscate the same.
So there you have it, my readers, SOSIA’s June 15, 2020 advisory is a big reminder when it comes to the driver’s license and encountering security guards.

COVID-19 Crisis: Muntinlupa imposes curfew, market schedule during GCQ/MGCQ to curb COVID-19
In a bid to manage the COVID-19 situation in the city despite the relaxation of quarantine measures, the City Government of Muntinlupa is set to enforce a curfew and market schedule during the implementation of the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) and Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ).
Mayor Jaime Fresnedi approved City Ordinance Nos. 2020-102 and 2020-103 imposing a city-wide curfew from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM during the GCQ and MGCQ, and a market schedule regulating the operations of the Alabang Public Market, respectively.
Fresnedi said the initiative to implement a curfew and market schedule for residents aims to limit movements and interactions in public places which are hotspots for the transmission of COVID-19.
Muntinlupa City Health Office recorded a spike in local cases during the effectivity of GCQ in Metro Manila starting June 1. The city’s confirmed cases jumped from 226 confirmed cases last May 31 to 303 confirmed cases last June 15.
As of June 15, Muntinlupa City has 303 confirmed cases with 185 recoveries, 83 active cases, 35 reported deaths, 45 suspect cases, and 324 probable cases.
The curfew period in the city shall take effect immediately. No person shall be allowed to go out of their respective homes during the GCQ and MGCQ, except for essential travel and emergency cases.
Persons exempted from the curfew include Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR) as enumerated by the Joint Task Force COVID Shield, those whose work involves the delivery of essential goods and services, those who work in night shift or a 24-hour on-call duty and those providing public transportation.
Violators will be penalized with P500 for the first offense and P1,000 for succeeding offenses. Residents violating the curfew will also incur a barangay blotter and cancellation of local grants and benefits from the City Government
Further, the City Government will also enforce a schedule for market-goers in Alabang Public Market during the GCQ and MGCQ.
District 1 and non-Muntinlupa residents are scheduled on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. While District 2 residents can buy groceries in Alabang Public Market on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Monday is designated for disinfection and sanitation of stalls and other areas of the market.
Persons entering the premises of the market should present a valid identification card (ID) showing their district residence address. Market-goers are also mandated to use face masks and strictly observe physical distancing.
Stall owners are ordered to install clear barriers and provide disinfectants for the use of customers and vendors. Violators will be meted with penalties such as closure, suspension, or revocation of business permits or licenses.
The City Government of Muntinlupa urged city residents to stay at home as much as they can and follow health protocols such as frequent hand-washing, physical distancing, proper cough etiquette, and other precautionary measures.

Hey Wonder Woman and superhero fans! By now, many of you are aware that I wrote and published several retro comic book reviews about the Post-Crisis Wonder Woman specifically the comic books that involved the legendary George Perez, Greg Potter and the late Len Wein. For today, I’ll be reviewing Wonder Woman #1 (1987), the landmark comic book that marked the start of what was back then the new age of greatness of Wonder Woman, the Queen of all Superheroes!
Before starting my review, let’s take a short look back at the publishing history with the online research I did.
In the mid-1980s, DC Comics published the maxi-series Crisis on Infinite Earths to not only celebrate their 50th anniversary but also to conclude what was the original multi-verse (multiple universes) of the publisher. Written by Marv Wolfman and drawn by George Perez, Crisis on Infinte Earths became critically acclaimed and a major seller as the saga saw the deaths of hundreds of characters, destruction of worlds and ultimately paved the way for DC Comics to reboot their superhero universe entirely.
And then the post-Crisis era of DC Comics happened. After Superman and Batman were successfully reintroduced, the Queen of all Superheroes herself – Wonder Woman – was up for a relaunch.
While detailed descriptions about what happened behind the scenes at DC Comics regarding the Wonder Woman reboot have been published, writer Greg Potter himself made some clarifications to set the record straight. For all of you readers and Wonder Woman fans, posted below is Potter’s clarification published with his permission.
The ideas for the rebooted Wonder Woman did not start with brainstorming between Janice Race and me. Having recently finished my Jemm Son of Saturn series, I was approached at a comic con in Chicago by Dick Giordano. He asked if I would like to submit a proposal for a rebooted Wonder Woman series. I sent him my ideas and he approved them. Dick then assigned Janice to the book (she had been my editor on Jemm) and I began writing the script for issue number one. It was after that that George walked into Janice’s office and offered his services as illustrator with a proviso that he also had a hand in plotting the stories.
Janice accepted and George and I subsequently met in her office to discuss our working relationship going forward. George and I agreed that the focus of the character would be her identity as an Amazon who’d lived in the Ancient Greek tradition and knew little about the outside world. I knew a great deal about Greek mythology but George knew even more. He supplied me with a book on the Greek gods that was extremely helpful in writing the first book. I in turn supplied him with many photos of Boston (I once had lived there) which he used in his artwork to make the backgrounds authentic.
It was a wonderful collaboration and made for a great introduction to the new Diana.
Eventually George Perez got involved in the creative process at DC. The famed illustrator and Potter worked closely on reintroducing Wonder Woman with an established identity and a rich cultural background. Indeed, something special transpired before the first issue got published.
“That was the background of the Wonder Woman character, which I felt was also the thing that made her unique as a character, and I thought that it had been downplayed in order to make her more of a standard superhero,” Perez stated.
Perez and Potter were co-writers. Perez himself conducted research on mythology which served as the foundation of the fantasy element of the planed post-Crisis Wonder Woman monthly series. This involved portrayals of deities of Olympus whose acts affect the Amazons living in the flesh. Apart from the fantasy and mythology, Perez implemented some key elements (specifically involving feminism and humanism) thanks to his discussion with Wonder Woman editor Karen Berger.
“A lot of research went into this first issue, and my bookshelves are full of reference material on mythology, Greek hairstyles, armor, clothing and even attitudes of the time. Some compromises were made where different references contradicted each other, but no decision was made without thought. We all have fallen in love with this project and want everyone to share in our excitement,” Perez wrote in the introduction in Wonder Woman #1 (1987).
Now that the history lesson is over, we can now all take a look back at Wonder Woman #1, published in 1987 by DC Comics with a story co-written by Greg Potter and George Perez. The art was done by Perez supported by the ink work of Bruce Patterson.

Early story
The story begins in the distant past of 30,000 B.C. Inside a cave, a man hits a pregnant woman’s head with his club instantly killing her and the unborn child.
In 1,200 B.C. at Mount Olympus, the god of war Ares tells his father Zeus (with the presence of other deities watching) that if Olympus truly desires to own the hearts of men and gain power, they should let him descend upon mortals. Ares views the mortals as weak and stressed that he could crush them all into eternal submission.
But Artemis (Ares’ half-sister), whose plan to create a new race of mortals on Earth was vehemently opposed by the god of war, responded by stressing that violence will make men fear them and not follow them. She stressed that the intention behind the plan was to set an example by showing man and woman’s true place with each other. The new race of mortals was planned to be female. Zeus, who is aware of the plan, leaves and tells the others to settle the plan among themselves. For his part, Ares leaves Olympus laughing.
With the many souls stuck in limbo for generations available to them, the deities Aphrodite, Artemis, Athena, Hestia and Demeter create the Amazons who appeared with adult bodies. The first to come out among them all was Hippolyte, the mother of Diana/Wonder Woman. In the presence of the many Amazons, Hippolyte was declared queen by the deities…
Quality
Diana was the only child to grow up with the Amazons.
When it comes to quality of storytelling, art, characterization and spectacle, Wonder Woman #1 is unquestionably an excellent comic book even by today’s standards! For the story, Greg Potter and George Perez crafted an epic fantasy tale retelling the origin of not only Wonder Woman but also of the Amazons complete with a very inspired portrayal of the deities of Olympus who actions and decisions affect the mortals. I should mention here that the portrayal of the mother-and-daughter relationship between Queen Hippolyte and Princess Diana really was compelling to see. Not only that, there were also elements of gender conflict, intrigue and worship portrayed.
It is clear that Perez really studied mythology and Greek culture to create a story that is still believable when it comes to emphasizing Wonder Woman for what was back then the modern readers of 1987 from the superhero geeks to long-time Wonder Woman fans and to girls and women in general. More than that, this story is timeless and clearly it is an illustrated literature classic on its own right.

The comic book has over thirty pages of story and art, with the pace ranging from medium to fast. As such, it managed to completely tell the stories of the Amazons and Princess Diana in just one comic book. By the time I finished this comic book, I got enlightened about the background of the Amazons and Wonder Woman herself.
When it comes to the art, each and every page of Wonder Woman #1 is very beautifully drawn by George Perez. His research on Greek culture and mythology is nicely reflected in his drawings. Just look at how he visualizes Olympus, the armor worn by soldiers, the clothes, the hairstyles, the coliseum, the architecture and more complete with a good amount of details visualized. The final page Perez drew remains very stunning, inspiring and heroic!

There is no doubt in my mind that Wonder Woman #1 of 1987 is truly one of the greatest superhero comic books ever published. The creative team succeeded in not only reintroducing Wonder Woman, her people and their part in the post-Crisis DC Comics universe, they also succeeded in modernizing them as well as dramatizing their origins altogether within the 32 pages of this comic book.
While it is a fact that a lot of people nowadays are highly familiar with the cinematic Wonder Woman (memorably played by Gal Gadot), for me the post-Crisis version of the Queen of Superheroes remains the definitive version and I can only wish that director Patty Jenkins would adapt more elements from this. It should be noted that this particular rebooted Wonder Woman is believable and can be taken more seriously among all superheroes.
If you are seriously planning to buy an existing hard copy of Wonder Woman #1 (1987), be aware that as of this writing, MileHighComics.com shows that the near-mint copy of the regular edition costs $51. The near-mint copies of the newsstand edition and the edition without a month printed cost$102 and $153 respectively.
Overall, Wonder Woman #1 (1987) is highly recommended!

My Observations: The SUM International Virtual Campus Days session of May 30, 2020
Hey everyone! I’d like to share to you that I attended something special on the morning of May 30, 2020. It was an online event held via the now popular Zoom app and it was called the SUM International Virtual Campus Days session for that particular Saturday which I got invited to by nice friends of mine involved with SUM. SUM is in reference to SUM Bible College and Theological Seminary.
Before I begin, let me explain what SUM Bible College and Theological Seminary is. SUM is a bible-based academic institution with a purpose to raise up Pentecostal ministry leaders through the Jesus Model of Leadership. It equips indigenous leaders from America and the nations of the world by offering an affordable theological education, combining academic instruction with practical hands-on ministry and personal mentorship. The SUM International Virtual Campus Days session summarized
Early in the session there was this very welcoming musical performance by SUM-uniformed men and women, and among them were my friends. After that, SUM founder George Neau delivered his welcome remarks and made a reference to chapter 6 of the Book of Isaiah in the Holy Bible.

As the presentation went on, SUM emphasized the Jesus Leadership Model, practical ministry and mentoring.

During his part of the presentation, Pastor Paul Mata (Visionary Leader) explained the online Christian schooling model of SUM and, more notably, he talked about empowering leaders for fivefold ministry.. The fivefold ministry is being done in line with SUM’s goal of bringing in a billion young people to Lord Jesus in His kingdom and this requires having thousands of pastors. That goal is undeniably global in scale.
Before the presentation ended, viewers from different parts of the world were invited to apply. SUM was transparent with regards on how to apply, how to pay, what courses are available and what the requirements are.
My thoughts
Considering the advancements of technology, communication and Internet access, SUM Bible College and Theological Seminary makes Christian, bible-based education more accessible than ever. It’s not just futuristic, it is the modern-day standard in more ways than one. Think about it…you attend a course of SUM online at the comfort of your home. COVID-19 Crisis: Situation in Morning Breeze, Alabang under control, lockdown to be lifted tomorrow
Following the two-week lockdown in Morning Breeze, Alabang, the local City Health Office (CHO) said the situation in the compound is now under control and residents who have contracted the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has shown improving conditions.
Muntinlupa CHO chief Dra. Teresa Tuliao said the Extreme Localized Community Quarantine (ELCQ) in Morning Breeze has helped improve and control the situation in the compound with now only 16 active cases and 6 recoveries as of June 15.
Tuliao noted that all active cases that has been confined in Ospital ng Muntinlupa are on the way to recovery. Further, the local health chief said that all probable cases in the compound has already tested negative for COVID-19.
During the two-week lockdown, CHO has conducted a mass testing in Morning Breeze and strengthened its isolation strategies and treatment of residents. The local government has also provided relief food packs to cover all meals and other basic supplies during the effectivity of the lockdown.
Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi has ordered an ELCQ in the compound, initially set from June 3 to June 5 but was extended until June 16, 11:59 PM, due to the alarming increase of COVID-19 cases in the community.
The local health office earlier recorded clustering of cases where COVID-19 positive residents live close to each other. Social distancing and strict use of face masks were also not followed.
Fresnedi said the City Government will continue to strictly monitor the situation in Morning Breeze after the lifting of the lockdown on June 16 to ensure that adherence to health protocols will be sustained.
“We ask for the cooperation of our residents in Morning Breeze to continue practicing social distancing and follow health protocols such as wearing of face masks, frequently washing of hands, and among others to completely curb the virus in the community,” the local exec said.
The City Government also eyes to put other areas in the city with high number of confirmed COVID-19 cases under localized community quarantine.
Muntinlupa City has 303 confirmed cases with 185 recoveries, 83 active cases, 35 reported deaths, 43 suspect cases, and 334 probable cases as of June 14.

Did you ever take an oath led by someone who looked more important than you?
Did you see photo releases of a city mayor leading the oath-taking ceremony of a board of directors of a civic group or a homeowners’ association (HOA) highlighted in your local community newspaper (most likely organized by people who really do NOT know law and/or journalism) and allowed yourself to be fooled into believing that such a ceremony was significant?
Did someone coerce you into taking an oath?
To make things clear, an oath is the solemn attestation of the truth or the inviolability of one’s words. By nature, oaths are composed of words mostly designed to impress. When it comes to Christianity, oaths are not heavenly and are in fact unnecessary. Oaths are earthly by nature and there is something significant as to why exactly oaths are unnecessary in the first place, as written in the Holy Bible.
As I mentioned before, we all live in a world that is so divisive and screwed up. The long-time loser Satan continues to abuse people and keep them away from Lord Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit by using unbelief, religion, traditions, idolatry, violence, looting, stealing, lust, abortion, homosexuality, distorted civil rights, distorted social justice, rituals and oaths. Satan does not want people to realize their true purpose under God, and he uses lots of tactics to prevent people from studying the Holy Bible and applying the lessons into their lives. The enemy knows that any edified Christian will defy him and defeat him in front of God.
Oaths and the ceremonies of taking them are actually unholy for any Christian.
Here is something that Satan does not want you to know: Lord Jesus Himself forbids oaths!
The truth about that is written in Verses 33 to 37 in Chapter 5 of the Book of Matthew in the Holy Bible. Below for you all are the words of Lord Jesus.
“Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to the Lord.’ But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God’s throne; nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.”
Matthew 5: 33-37 (NKJV)
To put things in perspective, Verses 33 to 37 above was about Lord Jesus setting His followers free with wisdom (greater understanding) and enable them to free themselves from the teachings and standards established by the Pharisees which literally constrained people.
This is because in previous times, the Pharisees created elaborate rules governing vows, and only those employing the divine name were binding Jesus associates their deception with the very nature of the evil one, and emphasize that a vow is binding regardless of what formula is used. Specifically, the use of oaths is superfluous (meaning unnecessary) when one’s word out to suffice. More importantly, oath-taking itself is an implicit confession that we do not always tell the truth.
As such, Lord Jesus is absolutely right about forbidding oaths! As Christians and the children of God, we should NEVER allow oaths to limit us, nor do we allow oaths to separate us from Him and His Word (the Holy Bible). It is sadly true that use of oaths is common in the modern world government units when officials take office, when a new batch of lawyers or doctors or architects formally start their careers, and more. For those who take oaths, they confirm they limit themselves to the rules and standards of their respective realm in society. This is definitely not what Lord Jesus wanted for His believers and followers thousands of years ago, and His kingdom is not of this world we live in.
If you are Christian and you were compelled to take an oath because of career, keep in mind that the oath will NEVER be more essential than your faith in the Lord and your dedication with the Holy Bible. Think of the oath as an earthly matter (society matter, career matter) that is only temporary and will never be essential with faith.
For us Christians driven by faith, we only need the Holy Bible. We don’t need oaths when it comes to Christianity and our relationship with God. Like idolatry, unbelief, religion, tradition and rituals, oaths are unnecessary. Since Jesus forbids oaths to set people free from what the Pharisees established, we Christians must take His action seriously! The Lord made the way and we should follow Him!
Now let’s take a look at the Passion Translation of the same scriptures and analyze.
“Again, your ancestors were taught, ‘Never swear an oath that you don’t intend to keep, but keep your vows to the Lord God.’ However, I say to you, don’t bind yourself by taking an oath at all. Don’t swear by heaven, for heaven is where God’s throne is placed. Don’t swear an oath by the earth, because it is the rug under God’s feet, and not by Jerusalem, because it is the city of the Great King. And why would you swear by your own head, because it’s not in your power to turn a single hair white or black? But just let your words ring true. A simple ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ will suffice. Anything beyond this springs from a deceiver.”
Matthew 5: 33-37 (TPT)
The Lord’s words: “Again, your ancestors were taught, ‘Never swear an oath that you don’t intend to keep, but keep your vows to the Lord God.’” mean that we should NOT perjure ourselves. Committing perjury means doing harm to the truth by knowingly telling a lie under oath. Clearly oaths are unnecessary for us – the church of Lord Jesus. We should be with Him, and not trap ourselves with oaths.
The next words from Him: “However, I say to you, don’t bind yourself by taking an oath at all. Don’t swear by heaven, for heaven is where God’s throne is placed.” Back during the days of the Lord and in the Middle Eastern cultural setting of Israel, the taking of oaths and swearing by something greater than oneself was the standard. It was the common practice of the times. The words of Lord Jesus trump culture and our bondage to doing things according to the expected norms of society. While He freed us the from limits of culture, society and its norms, Lord Jesus also taught us to be faithful and true with our words. In short, no pretensions and no dishonesty for us Christians. After all, the Lord can see through us. This is another solid reason why we should not let oaths bind us and our faith.
The Lord’s words: And why would you swear by your own head, because it’s not in your power to turn a single hair white or black? But just let your words ring true. What Lord Jesus meant was that our words must be backed with action. Meaning fulfillment on our part. The four things that He specified in Matthew 5: 33-37 – heaven, earth, Jerusalem and the person’s head – were considered sacred by the Jews. The Lord explained that words of truth make our lives sacred, and this alone will remind you about how essential it is to be serious with your Christianity and that you must not be limited by oaths. This leads to another holy scripture as follows:
But above all, my brethren, do not swear either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “yes” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment.
James 5: 12 (NKJV)
James 5: 12 points back to swearing as an attempt to involve the character and authority of God to support a claim or a promise (refer to Leviticus 9:12 and Deuteronomy 23: 23). What often follows is the name of the Lord getting debased (lowered in status) by means of using it to excessively emphasize a trivial point. As such, James cited Lord Jesus (refer to Matthew 5: 37) insisting that we should have integrity in what we say.
As such, to be really serious with your Christianity, stop saying or thinking of words like “I swear to you that I will do what you need me to do.” Stop saying or even imagining words like “I swore to the mayor of this city to do anything he commands me to.” Think very carefully. Imagine you took an oath to serve the mayor and the city residents only to find yourself in a legal bind later when you discover the mayor is corrupt and dishonest. You certainly would not want to be in such a predicament, and you certainly prefer to be with God!
As Christians who submitted to Him, confessed and got born again (refer to John 3: 3), and accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, we already received the Holy Spirit and became new creations. As such, we are dedicated to serving Him, worshiping Him, thanking Him, honoring Him and maintain unwavering faith in Him (He will bless us, love us and take care of us) eternally! The holy words we each prayed with to get converted are understandably essential, and no earthly oath should get in our way of faith in God. Lord Jesus forbid oaths to free us from bondage of this screwed up world we live in, a world ruined by Satan whose acts of evil and temptations resulted countless people to become lost and unsaved souls. We have a duty to help the Lord save the lost and the unsaved souls around us, and that means inviting them (note: no force and no coercion) and letting them take time to decide on their own to get born again to be truly Christian.
In our Christianity and our journey of faith in God, the oaths and swearing of this screwed up world are truly unnecessary. Lord Jesus made that clear thousands of years ago. He made the way for us already! Dedicate yourself to the Lord by faith. No need for any earthly oath-taking nor swearing.
Now that my newest teaching about the forbidding of oaths is done, I would like to reach out to all and any unsaved or lost souls among you readers. This is your opportunity to get born again and become Christian. The decision is yours, not mine.
If you seek salvation and are ready to submit yourselves to the Lord, open yourselves up to Him and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then pray this simple prayer in sincerity from your heart:
Dear God,
I believe that Jesus is Your Son, and that He died on the cross to pay the penalty of my sins. I believe that Jesus has been raised from the dead and that He is alive! Right now, I call on the name of Jesus. Jesus, come into my heart. I receive You as my personal Lord and Savior. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me by the power of Your blood. Thank You for saving me and giving me eternal life! Help me now to follow Your plan for my life. Amen.
Congratulations! You are now a child of God! Always praise, thank and honor the Lord. No more darkness in your life caused by unbelief or religion (which is filled with idolatry, traditions, rituals and wrong theology). Your new life under Christ has begun!
From this point on, acquire for yourself a copy of the Holy Bible (New King James Version is recommended), study it and apply its many lessons in your life no matter what situation you are in right now. I also recommend you to join a church of born-again Christians near you and find your place in the spiritual family. Worship the Lord together with them and remember that each of you has a personal relationship with Him. Understand that your personal relationship with God is strictly off-limits to everyone, even to your biological family.
The Holy Spirit is in you and you are now a new creation! Remember that God loves you and He is definitely happy over your conversion.
Now is the time for you and your spiritual family to be the fearless and aggressive Church of Lord Jesus! Now is the time for you to realize that God made a plan for each and every one of us (read Jeremiah 29: 11)! Now is the time to realize that God created us and rewards the faithful abundantly (John 10: 10). Never ever stop on pursuing the love and goodness of the Lord, no matter how hard life turns out!
