New Life Community Care Foundation International, Inc. (NLCOM) feeds hundreds of victims in Brgy. Pilar Village, Las Piñas City

Recently in the City of Las Piñas, a fire broke out in Maligaya Compound within Barangay Pilar Village which destroyed about thirty homes and left many residents homeless.

In response, New Life Community Care Foundation International, Inc. (NLCOM) – the compassion arm of New Life Philippines located inside Alabang Hills Village in Muntinlupa City – sent a team to the location and prepared hot meals for hundreds of victims.

In the progressive City of Muntinlupa, Mayor Ruffy Biazon formally asked the City Council to pass an ordinance that would regulate the use of electric tricycles (e-trikes) within the city, according to a Manila Bulletin news report. Finally, the authorities in Metro Manila made a major move  as the Metro Manila Council (MMC) approved yesterday a resolution that specifically prohibits electric tricycles (e-trikes) and electric bikes (e-bikes) on major roads within the National Capital Region (NCR), according to a Manila Bulletin news report. That being said, the mentioned electric vehicles (e-vehicles) will finally be regulated by local authorities and their users will be required to be licensed to drive.
