Recently in the city of Parañaque, local police officers successfully organized a buy-bust operation which resulted in the apprehension of two construction workers who possessed illegal drugs, according to a Manila Bulletin news report.

Authorities from the Parañaque City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted a buy-bust operation leading to the arrest of two construction workers in possession of P102,000 worth of shabu on Dec. 3.

The Southern Police District (SPD) said the suspects were identified as Tisoy, 27, and Niño, 33. They were arrested at around 8:10 a.m. at San Juan De Coastal, Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City.

The police said that members of the SDEU launched a buy-bust operation for the arrest of the suspects after receiving reports of their illegal drug activities in the said place.

Tisoy was caught in possession of seven grams of shabu, including the subject of sale, and Niño with four grams, totaling 15 grams worth P102,000.

The suspects were detained at the Parañaque City Police custodial facility and were charged with violations of Sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165.

Recently in the city of Parañaque, police officers organized a successful buy-bust operation which resulted in the arrest of a man who was found with a firearm and illegal drugs worth P374,000, according to a Manila Bulletin news report.

Authorities arrested a man in possession of P374,000 worth of shabu and a firearm during a buy-bust operation on Saturday, Nov. 22.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspect as “Christopher,” who was apprehended by the Parañaque City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) along Lopez Jaena Extension, Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City. Recovered from the suspect were 55 grams of shabu, a .45-caliber pistol, and a black sling bag.

Christopher is now detained at the Parañaque City Police custodial facility and faces charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2001) and Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).

Two motorcycle thieves were arrested on Friday, Nov. 7, by members of the Parañaque City Police after their victim spotted them driving his stolen motorcycle.

The suspects, identified as Jimboy, 33, and Jobert, 41, were apprehended in Tramo I, Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City.

Police said the victim reported seeing his stolen motorcycle being driven by two men in the area.

Acting on the report, officers quickly launched an operation that led to the arrest of the suspects and the recovery of the stolen vehicle.

During the arrest, authorities also confiscated a .38-caliber revolver loaded with six ammunition from Jimboy.

Police arrested a forklift operator, ranked as the No. 3 most wanted person for attempted murder, during a manhunt operation in Parañaque City on Oct. 29.

The suspect, identified the suspect as John, 21, was apprehended at his residence around 2:10 p.m. in San Juan De Coastal, Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque.

John was arrested by members of the Parañaque City Police Warrant and Subpoena Section by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Xerxes Ultra Garcia of the Parañaque City Regional Trial Court, Branch 295, with a recommended bail of P120,000.

Recently in the city of Parañaque, two suspects were apprehended and over P1 million worth of illegal drugs were seized by the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) which pulled off a successful buy-bust operation, according to a news report by the Daily Tribune.

The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) arrested two drug suspects tagged as newly identified high-value individuals in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay San (Dionisio), Parañaque City on Friday night.

Arrested during the operation were identified only by the alias Gie, 37; and alias Jefrey, 27–both residents of Parañaque City. The two suspects were identified as newly listed high-value individuals.

The operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 150 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated standard drug price value of P1,020,000.

The two suspects were apprehended around 9 p.m. in front of McDonald’s along Quirino Avenue, Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City.

Seized from alias Gie were approximately 100 grams of suspected shabu, one white long envelope, one LG keypad cellular phone, and buy-bust money. Meanwhile, 50 grams of suspected shabu were seized from alias Jefrey.

The total estimated weight of the seized illegal drugs amounted to 150 grams, with an approximate street value of P1,020,000.

A painter armed with a .45 caliber pistol was arrested by members of the Parañaque City Police last Feb. 12 for creating panic among bystanders.

The Southern Police District (SPD) said the suspect, identified as alias “Jonathan,” 22 was arrested at around 2:00 p.m. in Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City.

The police said the arrest of Jonathan came after a concerned citizen called up Barangay San Dionisio requesting for police assistance after a man brandishing his firearm had started causing panic among bystanders.

The police said personnel from the San Dionisio Police Sub-Station (SS4) immediately responded and found the suspect brandishing his firearm and challenging bystanders.

The suspect was immediately arrested. Recovered from him was a .45 caliber pistol with four ammunitions.

Yang said the suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Marie Grace Javier Ibayan of the Parañaque City Regional Trial Court, Branch 194 on September 9, 2014, for violation of acts of lasciviousness under Article 336 of the Revised Penal Code.
