Chinese national arrested in Parañaque City for illegal possession of firearm, grave threat and gun ban violation

Recently in the city of Parañaque, an armed Chinese national was arrested by the local police for illegally possessing a firearm, committing grave threat and violating the gun ban, according to a Manila Bulletin news report. The suspect had an intense argument with a fellow Chinese national.

A Chinese national was arrested for allegedly pointing a gun at his friend during a heated arguement in Parañaque City on Wednesday night, October 16.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspect as “Liu,”32. Liu was arrested at around 8:10 p.m. near a hotel in Barangay Don Galo, Parañaque City.

Based on the police investigation, the suspect had a heated argument with his compatriot identified as “Fang” while inside a vehicle driven by “Mark.”

Mark reportedly stopped the vehicle and sought assistance to some bystanders. Luckily, officers from the Parañaque Police Station Investigation and Detective Management Unit (SIDMU) who were conducting an operation near the area heard the commotion and responded to it.

Upon arrival, the officers witnessed Fang and Mark who had already subdued the suspect and were able to get hold of a pistol which Liu allegedly pointed to Fang.

Police recovered the .9mm pistol with five live ammunition from the suspect who failed to show any documents on the firearm.

Two men arrested during Parañaque City buy-bust operation, P680K worth of illegal substances confiscated

Recently in the City of Parañaque, two men got arrested as a result of a successful buy-bust operation in Barangay San Dionisio, according to a Manila Bulletin news report. Seized from them was almost P700,000 worth of illegal drugs.

Around P680,000 worth of shabu was confiscated from two drug suspects during a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City on Thursday, October 10.

Members of the Parañaque City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) identified the suspects as “Hadji” and “Ben.”

Authorities conducted the operation following the complaints against the suspects for their illegal drug activities around their community.

The confiscated drug evidence, which was around 100 grams, was turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit.

Antonio P. Antonio episode of Dark Asia with Megan surpasses 100,000 YouTube views worldwide

Dark Asia with Megan – the YouTube channel that specializes on true crime stories that happened around Asia – released on September 25, 2024 an episode focused on the story of the late Antonio P. Antonio who was killed by his own son Nelson in 2013.

Just yesterday, the said Dark Asia with Megan episode gathered over 100,000 views worldwide as well an estimated 3,500 likes. It should be noted that it took less than 30 days for the Antonio P. Antonio episode to surpass the 100,000 views mark. That being said, I posted below for your convenience the YouTube video. I encourage you all to watch it from start to finish.

For the newcomers reading this, the late Antonio P. Antonio (APA) was one of the most notable residents of BF Homes subdivision which is so large it occupies parts of the cities of Parañaque, Las Piñas and Muntinlupa. #1 Antonio P. Antonio story featured by Dark Asia with Megan – I previous made a blog post about this (click here). Even before this blog and website of mine started, I had been following the crime story of the late Antonio P. Antonio (APA) who was killed by his own son in 2013. The son even stayed overseas for years before getting caught and brought back home to be tried in court. Eventually, justice was served for the victim’s family and I should say that YouTuber Dark Asia with Megan did a really good job explaining and emphasizing the details in an episode launched on YouTube on September 25, 2024. This is a must-see video for anyone who is interested in true crime stories as well as events related to the famous BF Homes subdivision in the Philippines.

#2 New cars are spying on drivers and violating privacy – Be very careful with what you wish for when it comes to buying a brand new car with the latest in technology. There is this disturbing trend growing in which drivers/owners of cars equipped with highly advanced technologies ended up getting violated by car companies who collected not only their personal data but also other types of information about them such as immigration status, race, facial expressions, weight, health and even genetic information. This is because the highly computerized cars can spy on drivers by capturing videos of them, recording sound, monitoring their use of car apps, and collecting data from smartphones or computers that got connected to the car’s system. #3 In-depth look at the elimination of Hezbollah’s top leader Nasrallah – I previously blogged about the elimination of Hezbollah leader and murderer Hassan Nasrallah and it contained relevant videos about the topic. #4 Hunting legendary animals in Red Dead Redemption II – In the blockbuster video game Red Dead Redemption II, hunting is a huge and engaging part of the game. #5 Last Action Hero videos – While it is a known fact that the movie Last Action Hero (starring Arnold Schwarzenegger) was a huge commercial and critical disappointment in 1993, there are still lots of people who enjoyed watching it and even do research about it. That being said, it is not surprising that there are lots of YouTubers out there who made videos about it and you can watch a variety of videos I selected for your viewing.

6. How terrorist leader Hassan Nasrallah got eliminated

Going back to the eliminated Hezbollah leader and murderer Hassan Nasrallah, posted below is a video that explains (to the best of the YouTuber’s ability) what happened and how the powerful strike happened there in Lebanon.

7. Multiculturalism is truly bad

We live in a very twisted world. It is so twisted, illegal aliens are violating the sovereignty and cultures of nations. Like diversity, inclusion and wokeness, multiculturalism is a disease and it is destructive. Watch and learn from PragerU’s video below.

Former Parañaque City Councilor Benjo Bernabe files certificate of candidacy (COC) to run for Vice Mayor

Recently in the city of Parañaque, former City Councilor Benjo Bernabe officially filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) to run for the office of Vice Mayor of Parañaque in the May 2025 local elections.

For the newcomers reading this, Benjo Bernabe is the son of former Parañaque City Mayor Florencio “Jun” Bernabe. The young Bernabe served as City Councilor from 2010 to 2013, and he ran for Mayor in the 2013 local election but ended up short.

Benjo Bernabe filed his COC in the presence of Commission on Elections (COMELEC) – Parañaque officials at City Hall. With him were his father, Congressman Brian Yamsuan (note: a candidate for the District 2 Congressional Seat of Parañaque) and Barangay BF Homes captain Jeremy Marquez to name a few.

Chinese fugitive arrested in Parañaque City

Recently in the city of Parañaque, a Chinese national who has been wanted for kidnapping was arrested by immigration agents in Barangay Tambo, according to a GMA Network news report. The operation was done in tandem with Chinese officials.

The Bureau of Immigration has arrested a Chinese national wanted for kidnapping.

In a statement on Thursday, the BI said 37-year-old suspect Hu Yang was arrested in an operation with Chinese authorities in Barangay Tambo, Parañaque on Monday.

Hu Yang, alias Lin Zihao, was allegedly part of a kidnapping syndicate that tortured and kidnapped their victims.

He was tagged as a fugitive after he was declared wanted by the Public Security Bureau of Jinjiang City in China for kidnapping. His passport has already been revoked.

“His arrest is a significant step in our ongoing efforts to apprehend foreign criminals hiding in the Philippines. We will continue to work with our counterparts abroad to ensure that those who break the law are held accountable,” said BI Officer-in-Charge Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado.

Arrested Chinese national involved in Pasay City shooting incident formally charged by Parañaque City police

A Chinese national who got involved in a shooting incident in Pasay City and was arrested in Parañaque City was formally charged by the Philippine National Police (PNP) of Parañaque for the illegal possession of firearm and hiding his true identity, according to a Manila Bulletin news report.

A Chinese national involved in the Pasay road-rage shootout incident on September 21 was charged with illegal possession of firearm and concealing his true identity at the Parañaque City Prosecutor’s Office on Monday, September 23.

The suspect, identified as “Lin,” 34, was arrested by members of the Tambo Police Substation after receiving an alarm from the Pasay City Police that a suspect involved in a shooting incident fled towards the direction of Parañaque City onboard a white NWOW E-Bike that he stole.

Lin was arrested near a construction site on Macapagal Boulevard in Barangay Tambo.

During the investigation, the suspect was found using fictitious names to conceal his identity and previous crimes which include kidnapping and illegal possession of firearm.

For the newcomers reading this, I have been blogging about the Antonio family’s pursuit for justice of the late APA and this past March, justice was realized when the suspect Nelson Antonio was found guilty beyond reasonable doubt by Branch 274 of the Parañaque Regional Trial Court (RTC) for the killing of his father. Three Chinese nationals arrested in Parañaque City for kidnapping Malaysian

Recently in the city of Parañaque, three Chinese nationals were arrested by the local police for the kidnapping of a Malaysian national, according to a news article by the Philippine News Agency (PNA). The police reacted to a report by the friend (a fellow Malaysian) of the victim who eventually got rescued.

Three Chinese nationals were arrested for allegedly abducting a Malaysian national in Parañaque City on Monday.

In a report, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Maj. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. identified the suspects as Li Xue Chang, 34; Huang Guanghong, 27; and Wang Yefu, 24; all residents of Shore Residences in Pasay City.

The suspects were arrested in an entrapment operation by the Parañaque City Police Station at about 5:30 a.m. along Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard in Barangay Tambo, which also led to the rescue of the 42-year-old victim.

Seized from the suspects were three caliber .45 pistols, six magazines, 38 rounds of ammunition, a bolo, a pocket knife, four cellular phones, boodle money, and a silver Mitsubishi Adventure vehicle used in the crime.

Investigation showed that the suspects abducted the victim at about 11 p.m. on Sept. 6 in Barangay Tambo.

The operation stemmed from the report of the victim’s friend, also a Malaysian national, who claimed the suspects sent him ransom demands and photos of the victim being tortured via messaging app Telegram on Sunday.

The arrested suspects are now facing criminal complaints of kidnapping, violations of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act), and Batas Pambansa 6 (An Act Regulating the Sale, Use, and Possession of Bladed, Pointed, or Deadly Weapons).
