High-value target arrested and P2 million worth of illegal drugs seized in Parañaque City

Authorities arrested a high-value target and seized about PHP2 million worth of assorted party drugs in an anti-drug-operation in Parañaque City, the Southern Police District (SPD) said on Friday.

In a statement, SPD Director Brig. Gen. Bernard Yang identified the suspect as alias “Kylie,” 26, who was arrested during a buy-bust operation along Greenheights Avenue in Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City at about 5:35 p.m. on Thursday.

Yang said PHP2,055,900 worth of assorted party drugs were confiscated from the suspect, consisting of 141 grams of suspected cocaine, with an estimated street value of PHP747,300; 153 grams of suspected ketamine (PHP765,000); 274 grams of high-grade marijuana or “kush”(PHP411,000); and 78 pieces of assorted ecstasy tablets (PHP132,600).

Also seized were a weighing scale, one genuine PHP1,000 bill, and PHP64,000 in boodle money used in the buy-bust transaction

All recovered substances will be submitted to the SPD’s forensic unit for quantitative and qualitative analysis, while the suspect will face charges for violating Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Two individuals suspected of drug-related offenses were apprehended during a buy-bust operation executed by the Parañaque Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit, resulting in the seizure of shabu valued at P306,000 on Sunday, October 27.

According to the Southern Police District (SPD), the suspects, known by the aliases “Marty,” aged 54, and “Emely,” aged 30, were taken into custody at approximately 4:00 p.m. in Barangay San Antonio, Parañaque City.

The SPD reported that the operation culminated in the confiscation of 45 grams of shabu, amounting to P306,000, along with a P500 bill utilized as buy-bust money, a coin purse, and a mobile phone.

Following their arrest, the suspects were held at the police custodial facility and are facing charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

A drug suspect was arrested by patrolling members of the Parañaque city police Substation 2 on Sunday, October 20.

According to the Southern Police District (SPD), the suspect identified as alias “Oliver,” 33 ws arrested at around 1:10 a.m. along Roxas Boulevard, Southbound, Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City.

Investigation showed the victim, a female call center agent was seen by patrolling policemen who was frantically signaling for assistance.

The victim told police that she was threatened by the suspect with firearm and forcibly took her motorcycle.

The police said operatives from Substation 2 immediately responded and with the (victim’s) assistance was able to block and apprehended the fleeing suspect.

Recovered from the suspect were 20 grams of shabu worth P136,000, a replica .45 caliber pistol and the stolen motorcycle.

Government anti-narcotics authorities seized P68 million worth of shabu following the arrest of a Bureau of Correction (BuCor) personnel and two others during a buy-bust operation in Parañaque City, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Monday, August 12.

The PDEA stated that Paul Patrick Toledo, 27, a BuCOR Correction Officer 1, truck driver Romeo Guerrero, 34, and security guard Reynold Teodoro, 27, were arrested on August 9 during an entrapment operation in Skate Park, Bulungan.

During the operation, the PDEA Special Enforcement Service (SES) and Regional Office-National Capital Region (RO-NCR), together with the Philippine National Police (PNP) Drug Enforcement Group-Intelligence and Foreign Liaison Division (IFLD), and Parañaque City Police Station Sub-Station 3 seized 10 kilograms of shabu, two vehicles, a pistol loaded with live ammunition and mobile phones.

Regional anti-narcotics police arrested an electronic (e)-bike driver and seized a total of PHP2.04 million worth of suspected shabu in a sting operation Monday evening.

The police identified the suspect as alias Demot, a 33-year-old resident of Spolarium Street in Barangay Duljo-Fatima, whose work is driving an e-bike for a fee.

The suspect yielded the packs containing what is believed to be shabu, weighing 300 grams with an estimated street value of PHP2,040,000.

“The police is now investigating to determine the source of illegal drugs of the suspect,” a statement from the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 7 (Central Visayas) said Tuesday.

According to the police, the suspect was placed under close monitoring a week before his arrest after they received a report that he could dispose of 500 grams of illegal drugs per week.

Government anti-narcotics authorities seized P3.4 million worth of shabu on Tuesday, April 16, following the arrest of three suspects during a buy-bust operation at the basement parking of a shopping mall in Parañaque City.

In an initial report, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said that the law enforcers confiscated 500 grams of shabu from Asher Guiani, 32; Ariedz Guiani, 27; and Almajid Kudandin, 22, at around 12:20 p.m. during the operation in barangay Don Bosco.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspects as alias Weng, 30, an online seller; alias Jerico, 27; and alias Erwin, 40.

The SPD said the suspects were arrested at around 6:15 a.m. along Draga St., Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City.

The police said alias Weng and alias Jerico were tagged by the Parañaque city police as high value individuals (HVI) while alias Erwin was placed under Street Level Individual (SLI).

Recovered from the arrested suspects were 125 grams of shabu worth P850,000 and the P1,000 buy-bust money. The police said the recovered evidence from the suspect was turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit (SPDFU) for analysis.

A woman online seller yielded over P189,000 worth of “shabu” in a buy-bust operation conducted by members of the Las Piñas police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) on Wednesday, Oct. 25.

The Southern Police District (SPD) said Col. Jaime Santos, Las Piñas police chief, reported the arrest of alias “Maria,” 23, an online seller of grocery items.

Santos said the suspect was arrested at around 1:50 a.m. along Upper Laong Almanza Uno, Las Piñas City.

He said members of the SDEU conducted the buy-bust operation by contacting the suspect online and pretending to buy grocery items.

The city police chief said members of the SDEU were able to confiscate from the suspect about 27.8 grams of alleged shabu amounting to P189,040.

Aside from the recovered “shabu,” members of the SDEU also confiscated one Huawwei Nova 5T model cellphone, black coin purse and three P100 bills used as buy bust money from the suspect.

The confiscated shabu was brought at the SPD Forensic Unit for drug testing and analysis.

A Chinese national was arrested for possession of firearms and drugs upon entering a hotel and casino hub in Parañaque City on Sunday, September 10.

The Southern Police District (SPD) said the suspect, identified as Wan Liang, 40, was arrested at around 3:00 p.m. at the Pearl Entry of Okada Manila, Entertainment City in Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City.

The police said security personnel noticed suspicious items inside Liang’s bag during the routine bag screening before entering the hotel and casino hub. The security immediately prevented Lang from entering the establishment.

Police recovered a .45 caliber pistol with one magazine loaded with seven live ammunitions, a zip-locked sachet containing 1.77 grams of shabu worth P12,036 and two alleged ecstasy tablets worth P3,400, along with assorted IDs and P710.00 cash inside the bag.

The suspect was immediately turned over to the Tambo police substation by Jaafar after the discovery of the illegal items.
