Recently in the City of Muntinlupa, over five thousand local residents benefited from the Handog ng Pangulo 2026 program by receiving services and assistance, according to a news report by the Manila Bulletin.
To put things in perspective, posted below is an excerpt from the Manila Bulletin news report. Some parts in boldface…
A total of 5,176 residents received services and assistance as the Muntinlupa City government held the “Handog ng Pangulo 2026” on Sept. 14 to mark President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s birthday.
In partnership with local and national government agencies, the program offered services such as medical and dental caravans, free X‑rays, cervical and breast screenings, vaccinations, Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) payouts, livelihood aid, Kadiwa ng Pangulo, legal consultations, police clearances, Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) registration, and land title verification.
Of the total residents served, 1,700 benefitted from the P20 Rice for Sale and Kadiwa ng Pangulo, while 884 received medical consultations, Yakap registration, medicines, vaccinations, eye and cataract screenings, cancer screenings, and dental X‑rays.
Mayor Ruffy Biazon led the implementation of the services together with agencies such as the Department of Health, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of Agriculture, Department of Justice, Department of Migrant Workers, PhilHealth, and Muntinlupa police.
Let me end this post by asking you readers: What is your reaction to this recent development? If you are a resident of Muntinlupa City, are you delighted that many local residents benefited from the Handog ng Pangulo 2026 program?
