Recently in the City of Las Piñas, residents of Satima Village received relief packs from the City Government, according to an official announcement via social media. Vice Mayor April Aguilar, Councilor Mark Santos and other local officials led the distribution of the relief goods.
To put things in perspective, posted below is an excerpt from City Government’s social media post. Some parts in boldface…
City Vice Mayor April Aguilar, alongside City Councilor Mark Anthony Santos and several City Department Heads, led the distribution of relief packs to residents of Satima Village in its efforts to support communities in need. The event, held at the Heritage Homes Covered Court in Barangay Talon Dos on Monday, September 9, aimed to provide much-needed assistance to families in the area.
The relief packs, provided in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), were distributed to dozens of residents who gathered at the venue. Vice Mayor Aguilar expressed her commitment to ensuring that aid reaches every community in Las Piñas, especially in times of need.
The distribution was part of the city’s ongoing Programang Pang-Nutrisyon Para sa Las Piñeros, which seeks to improve the overall well-being of Las Piñas residents through various support initiatives.
Let me end this piece by asking you readers: If you are a resident of Las Piñas City, what is your reaction to this development? Do many members of your local community hope to receive relief packs from the City Government under the Programang Pang-Nutrisyon Para sa Las Piñeros program?
