Barangay Baclaran Captain Jun Zaide is running for the office of Mayor of Parañaque City again as he recently filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) in the presence of Commission on Elections (COMELEC) officials at City Hall. The local elections will happen in May 2025.

For the newcomers reading this, Jun Zaide has been serving as the head of Barangay Baclaran for many years now. He first ran for Mayor of Parañaque as an independent candidate in May 2022 but lost.
