Recently in the City of Las Piñas, the City Government announced that the date of March 27, 2024, has been officially declared by Malacañang Palace a special non-working day in the city in connection with the dual anniversaries, according to a Manila Bulletin news report.

The Las Piñas City government has announced that March 27 has been declared by Malacanang as a special non-working day in the city in celebration of its 117th founding and 27th cityhood anniversary.
Mayor Imelda Aguilar said Malacañang issued Proclamation 471 signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on Feb. 16 declaring March 27 as a special non-working day in the city.
Aguilar said the declaration was made to give residents full opportunity to participate and enjoy the celebration.
